need help on regulator adjustment
Just got my R3 standard (used, but spanking new to me!) and it’s shooting very hot. I did adjust the HST and max out at 980fps on JSB 18.1g. My speed start to drop off at around 127ish bar.
How much turn should I turn the regulator to get it near the recommended fps by you guys at 900fps?
Insanity check CW to decrease
CCW to increase, correct?

Oh well. Just finished adding 3/8 turn CW :-). Will need to shoots it all out and keep on trying…
When I do not need the info, it’s right there and when I do…. all the search in the world and still cannot find it. 😯

Damn! I always thought that you turned the reg adjusting screw CW to reduce the reg pressure. 😆
I would mark the reg housing and also mark a spot on the adjusting screws slot where it was orginally set. That way you can keep track of how much you have adjusted it.
If it is shooting at 980, I would try 1/2 turn CW from where it was orginally set. And YES, it is CW to reduce the reg’s pressure. I have been setting and tuning one for a couple of hours today.
