New 25 shorty is in stop the press……

Well I got my new 25 shorty here she is.
It shoots 40 fpe, it twice as loud, but not bad.
The air tube seams, just a little bit bigger in o.d.
I really like it, even though, I’ve only ran about 4 mags of ammo.
Using Air arms 25 gr pellets, it is stacking them @ 25 yards. :biggrinn:

If you really want a long gun take a very good look at the Cricket 22s in long rifle,
You just can not go wrong with this gun..

A 250 bar fill is a must with this puppy.

I’m using 31gr Barracuda’s. I think you are using contaminated, low grade, thin air!!! You need to switch to Premium Flatland Air and get your manometers checked!

You and me, both, brother. I bet if we did get a .22 shorty we may as well retire our Prods, even though you just souped yours up. I find as of now I’m only using my Vet .25 and my little Mrodair CP1m pistol that’s .177 under cO2. Looking at the Airmax PCP pistol now as well. I need to give some love back to my prod. I’ve been neglecting her, what with my penis and baby tape measure and all, and she may end up leaving me for another man.

Approx. 10 3/16 shroud with the forward and aft factory endcaps on the Standard. And keep in mind, the tape measure is a smaller keychain Stanley Fatmax….so don’t trip out or anything wondering if I have a larger than life Taipan.
…and here’s about where Uncle Hoot will be chiming in about how I use this baby Fatmax to measure my penis in an attempt to make it seem bigger. :rofl:
I just noticed something looks like the new shorty has a longer ldc,
must be off the standard.
It’s 7 inches long the old one is 6 inches long.
How many baffles, does the standard ldc have anybody? 🙄

Worse case for me, I may have to settle for a standard, probably about when the inventory dries up, my luck…

I fill to 200 bar because I’ve always found that above 200 bar there is a loss of air usage efficiency, per shot, until the pressure gets down around 200 bar. That seems to have been the case in most of the pcp’s we have posted about. Not everyone will agree with this…usually those with compressors that go above 200 bar tend to prefer higher fills. More power to them!
Plus, I fill to 200 bar because I don’t have a home compressor, I use a 150 cf scuba tank that will take a 3450 psi fill. And…I don’t need to squeeze out the maximum number of shots per fill because I don’t shoot thousands of pellets per year, like some of the hard core members here.
Hoot:
