Im working on getting some carbon Fiber tanks, The manufacture will be sending me some for testing. i will send them to get tested and if all goes well i will get more.
Im just looking to see if there is any interest? These are aluminum core carbon fiber wrapped.
Water capacity: 0.5L
Diameter: 60mm
Working pressure: 30Mpa
Length: 310mm
Weight: 0.6kg
Thread: M18*1.5

Yup same threads as the condor bottle. unscrew you condor valve and screw it into the CF bottle. done deal and its very close to the condor bottle in size. There is also a 320cc bottle that is shorter and you could run a reg setup but 320cc maybe a little small. but then again with the reg it might do good at 4500 psi down to 1800 or whatever pressure u use.

I haven’t really put much thought into that…. Ill make a couple emails and find out if these bottles are hydro tested. If they are not, Then it will be up to the end user to have them tested if they so desire. Other wise that will drive up the cost on the bottles… plus more legwork on my part. but we can take a general consensus and go from there what do you all think?

I spoke to the individual in question about the adapter/regulator and he indicated that he has no one to machine them. So I think that Tony’s model is safe for now.
I do recall Tony giving the regulator feature consideration on his adapter. But for whatever reason decided against it.
I also asked about the c/f tank and he indicated they would no longer be offered.
I’m a player for one PROVIDING all I have to do is screw my valve directly onto the tank. No adapter, no mojo, just bolt on and go.
By the way…… Will these things be hydro tested prior to purchase and how will we know they have been?

Personally I don’t think it’s a copy…he added the regulator to the TTTA-like adapter, which is genius if you ask me.
While I am definately interested in a 4500 tank , for my usage , and I expect most users , the tank needs to be shorter than the standard AF tank to allow for the extra length of the reg & pre chamber .I am guessing I can use one of my ETACREGS with the bottle if the JDS 4500 reg will work with AF bottle threads . Not sure ? Also I don’t think Jim is making ETACS any more . Is anyone else making a pre chamber that will work ? The citrus air site has a nice looking reg & adaptor but it’s just in development . If someone can put together the bottle , reg , and pre-chamber it would be a big seller .

Ok what I need is a tally of who would buy one. I’m gonna say that I should be able to get these at a price below 175 shipped to your door. That’s me receiving them the. Packing and sending to you. I’m saying 175 shipped to be safe but I’m thinking it will be less. Just need a show of who’s interested No tire kickers please. As soon as I get a solid tally I’m gonna get a new quote. And I will be able to give a more solid price.

I’m sure u could… The ones I’m getting I believe are light a white/light grey color. Nothing a little paint won’t take care of. Even maybe a slip on cover to protect the tank

I have 2 coming 1 for my condor and the other I’m gonna put on my HM1000x. Im gonna try and organize a group buy and order a bunch but i just wanna make sure that i will actually be able to get them and that they are what they claim.

I just talked to crossfire tanks. They said it would be around $40,000 just to get through DOT to make a custom tank. Then there was design before it even got there.
I ask if they ever had a tank fail and he said yes. At first hydro it popped at 5300 psi.
DOT is there everyday they make tanks inspecting resin and the wrap. 2 of every 200 are tested to failure. They have to hold 15,000 psi for one minute. He said they normally pop between 16-17,000 psi.
I will stick with a tank made here unless they can prove they have test same standards as here.
He said a 68 ci tank is the same as 2 sticks of dynamite when it goes.
