This is a sad day. For the first time, and i have been here for years, my head is hung low. 🙁
Whoa! This thread got real! I want to thank all of you who talked me out of buying a BC….I enjoy my R3M immensely! Despite the few quirks it’s a great airgun.

Who in there right mind would say anything bad about Ted and his holdover? He is a well respected stand up guy in the air gunning community and brings us so much great information and entertainment. He has been an inspiration to many and is just what our sport needs to keep the new comers rolling in..

For the record: I never was a big fan of name calling and “bitching” as you call it. AND I don’t think I ever have mentioned SteveCT or “Yellow” in any of my previous posts. If you’re directing your gun at me personally in this respect, – you’ll deffo shoot the wrong guy……. :biggrinn:
However in the case of the “Yellow” practises, – my recommendation would be to try not to put a “lid” on the “symptoms”. The “bitching” are merely “symptoms”. Something may have caused these “symptoms”. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to try helping addressing the cause for these “symptoms” instead of the “symptoms” themselves…..?
If “capped” here, the “symptoms” will show up elsewhere. The world is transparent these days…..
Try to isolate the causes of the “disease” and try to address those instead…..

The altruism of wanting to fix the YF is beautiful. Just do not go there and that desire will fade.
There are dozens of airguns forums out there that need your help…. Go fourth and spread the word to them..lol
Also let me clarify something….Being a friend to the TAG, Tony and Myself does bring privileges….make no mistake about that.
SteveCT has stepped up time and again and helped up behind the scenes…that has a value. And asking to cool the shit talk about our friend in our house pisses people off….To bad so sad.
We have a lot more here to discuss and those who are obsessed with focusing on the YF and SteveCT have the FREEDOM to do elsewhere.

SteveCT has done a lot for this forum. Far more then any of the members who constantly are bitching about him. He is a friend of the forum and of Tony and I.
A complaint here and there is one thing….but the constant bitch fest is over.
The only freedom you guys have on this forum is the Freedom Tony and I permit.

I have been a great fan of your forum because of the freedom of speech and opinions granted to us as members. Through your wisdom of respect for these virtues, – the TAG may have become one of the best forums in the world of AirGuns. I beg of you Sir, to keep it that way….
Rightfully so the “Yellow” has become an “institution” in the international world of airguns in the past. Partly due to age, partly due to clever management and partly due to the fact that they for a longish period of time were more or less alone. The international reputation and recognition of the “Yellow” is however now dropping veeery quicly. Has to do with moderating practises upheld by your friend SteveCT.
In short, – it appears that the dollar has become more important to the “Yellow” forum management than freedom of speech. It can no longer be seen as unbiased and is about to lose it’s credibility…..
Something which eventually may lead to loss of sponsors who may no longer want to be associated………..
I would be only too pleased if you could convey this message to your friend SteveCT who just recently invited me to become a poster. I declined (all via Steve in WWAG).
The “Yellow” is too important to be “demolished” by the need for dollars……
Hopefully your friend SteveCT will listen and take the message onboard in his future strive to keep the “Yellow” up where it belongs. Both the “Yellow” and SteveCT deserves that…….
In the meantime, I would hope for this forum that you will carry on keeping your flag up high and maintain the principle of freedom of speech as we have seen it in the past……

For you who are not aware SteveCT is a friend of the Talonairgun forum and has helped us out on many occasions
If you do not like his forum…. then stop going over there and reading it everyday…all day long. There are plenty of other forums to go to.

Yes, I could not agree more. I do value the classifieds and that is the only reason I have not posted a rant about what I really think about Steve and his stupid fucking rules.
Maybe if Neil Clague could afford to line Steve’s pockets the way AoA and others obviously do, his products could be mentioned without the thread being locked?

Found this link, kinda looks like they just threw the rifle together. I have never owned or shot a FX gun, but I’ve heard plenty good about them, I hope maybe the quality isn’t dropping off.
