online shooting contest?
I remember a couple of years ago a forum something like this one where the guys would shoot targets each week, post the pics and the tightest group would win..any of you interested in doing this? or do you think there might be a cheater on here 😆

I think it should be part of the rules that everyone joining the shootoff post at least one target per week….Rather than waiting till the last week to post a group…..Hello The Machinist?
contest starts today
shoot as many targets as you like
submit only one per week
must be offhand
must be 25 yards indoors or out
must be a airforce rifle, any make or caliber
iron or glass sights
post your target for the week here in this thread
measure the outsides of the 2 furthest holes..
must be 5 shots, no 4 hole targets allowed
a 4 1/2 hole target must look like a number 8 or there bouts..
possible a good cloverleaf..
even if your target is not as good as one already posted go ahead and post it, this is a 5 week long contest, the best score after the 5 weeks ends wins..
Oh dear the pressure is on now – international… I will do my best but I am more of a kneeling – prone shooter.

All the paperwork I have say he is an american bulldog he matches some of the pics I have in a book about them. Most others I have seen have a lot more white.
He will be 5 in september and he tips the scales at 65kg.

Gotta say that’s a good bit of shooting. I will join in the game soon but not until I am 100% with my setup.
If your gonna be better then me wouldn’t it be nice to know you beat me when I am 100% there is nothing worse then someone saying their kit is not up to it.
Mind you it might take a year or two until I am 100%….. Just kidding I will try to post before the end of the week.

Ignore the target bleed through, I put a dot on the back of a scrap target (funny that I hit a perfect dot on the target but has nothing to do with this attempt).
1 and 3/16 by my ruller.

Scared – No. But my best group was a hair over an an inch. I’ll post it if you want to see it but I’ve packed up for the weekend.
I’ve been shooting alot of 10m and doing fairly well but it didn’t translate to 25y. At least this has got me practicing at longer distances.
