online shooting contest?
I remember a couple of years ago a forum something like this one where the guys would shoot targets each week, post the pics and the tightest group would win..any of you interested in doing this? or do you think there might be a cheater on here 😆

seriously..well not seriously since i’m only 16.. here are the rules, which I will change during the contest to fit my needs..
contest starts today
shoot as many targets as you like
submit only one per week
must be offhand
must be 25 yards indoors or out
must be a airforce rifle, any make or caliber
iron or glass sights
post your target for the week here in this thread
measure the outsides of the 2 furthest holes..
must be 5 shots, no 4 hole targets allowed
a 4 1/2 hole target must look like a number 8 or there bouts..
possible a good cloverleaf..
even if your target is not as good as one already posted go ahead and post it, this is a 5 week long contest, the best score after the 5 weeks ends wins..
I will not post any funny pictures telling any of you to go get f___ed 😆

Keep the prizes small. Offer a new condor as a prize and I’ll put the barrel right up to the target. 😛
to begin with lets just use a standard target or even a piece of paper with a dot or x on it..the object will be to get the tightest 5 shot group..not to take out the bullseye.. it will really help if everyone has a pair of dial calipers and we will measure the outside to outside of the 2 furthest holes. I’ll donate the first prize which will be given out at the end of 5 weeks. a new tin of 500 miesterklugen’s.. lets try to start next week..any more ideas suggestions?
Off hand at 25yrds…. hmmm… can I print my target on 11×17 paper so i can how much i miss the target by 😛 Getting to respectable at 10yrds offhand, sounds like fun.
Black death, off hand, 25 yards! Can we make a new target though, one that won’t use up all my black ink when I print it out.
If it’s anything like high power competition, x is a tiebreaker. They count the same, but if two people have the same score, the person with the most x’s wins.
Akula, can we wait until I get a better caliber for my blaser? I don’t know if I could group my cannon at 1000 yards. 😀
Arrgg, only 23 yards in my backyard. I guess I will have to open the gate and shoot from the front yard. Will the neighbors mind?
Tony, on that Black Death target board it says all hits on the center dot count as an X. Is an X 10 points?
Ok..it looks like 25 yards may be the distance we will start with so all can play….since it is pretty close compared to what many shoot here, what you you think about making it a standing off hand competition? with the talon and condors only..
