People that can get cheap fill and have two tanks Cascading is the way to go, It seems to be a hassle but, a lot more fills .
Where I live it cost 30 to 38 bucks to fill a tank, That’s a great white from 3000 Psi to fill to 4500psi, I ask and the same charge would be to fill a tank from 2000psi to 3000psi. That would be about 60 to 76 dollars to fill the tanks?
I guess that’s why I am saving up for a Omega compressor,

Guns are not cheap, air not cheap, Tanks are not cheap, The scopes I bought are not cheap, The pellets are cheap, And the fun factor is big… Well over 6000 $$ the first year in the sport…. Wow :butkick:
I guess as long as the guys in white coats stay away and try not to put me in a padded room . Its money well spent on the fun factor scale….. :suprisedn: Now I got to buy me a gun safe, :suprisedn: I do have a lot of rim rife and center fire weapons in the house also, :winkn: :winkn:
But none come close to the Crickets price. :smilen: :smilen:

You need a stick to clean the feeders after using the 30 cal Edgun. it doesn’t take prisoners. I refrain from reposting some of those photos that I have done before. :darth-vader: They are not fine dining appropriate. 😳

I love my birdies too much to share… The “bad” ones come and go in numbers and careful baiting is required to maintain a healty supply – 😳 did I say that? I had a ton of starlings for a while but they completely disappeared for now. The sparrows are always the main stay but it takes multiple feeders to get them to bring all of their friends and relatives. I had nine feeders up for awhile but the pellets slowly whittle them down over time even with repair and all steel ones. :4: The trouble with two many feeders is it becomes hard to locate one or two sparrows as they land unless they are pretty far apart. The swivel on my regular and magnum Caldwell Deadpods get a good workout sometimes. 
Baby Cricket in .177 is the quietest and most fun followed by the 30 cal when I am feeling destructive but it totals the feeders in short order. 😯
There are never enough birds to shoot. You only have the smart ones left. So that calls for 80 yard sparrowing fun fun

Yes I added 2 more holes and it sounds a little quieter. Accuracy is still spot on. Trouble is I’m running out of birds too shoot. Can someone send me some??
Zonk did you finish drilling holes in shroud on cricket. What are your true findings?

With that configuration (matching vent holes on Donny shroud) I can switch between covering the holes and uncovering them in sub second. All what it takes is to twist the Donny shroud 5 degrees (in either direction, and there is enough clearance for that) and the holes are now covered. Twist it back and they are now uncovered. You can then test with and without very fast and see the difference (its like a configurable knob now :)). Drilling the matching holes is very simple as the holes will leave some obvious marks on the inner of the external shrouds which is exactly where you need to drill.

Now that a cool idea, I just cut the PVC shroud off to uncover the holes,,,,
I run Donny’s shrouds own both my 22 and 25 , and they work great.
When I did my research on the holes I just cut off maybe three to four inches off the PVC shroud to uncover the holes , Works great,,,,,
Its really made my groups tighter, I will leave it up to the brains on the holes and how they work,,, But they just make a tighter group when they are uncovered.

I had to exit that site fast, but I think I got a glimpse of hoot !!
I can say the holes make a difference in my groups, I took pictures of my targets but my picture album placed them some where I can not find?
Its not a major difference but the groups are tighter with the holes uncovered at 48 yards. Sound wise I can not tell any difference ,
Its the difference between hitting the sparrow in the eye and the beak,,, Pretty small,,,
But I like shooting the eyes out,,,,
