be gentle 😀
now guys i really could not be arssed reading all that stuff,so is that nv for sale or not 😕
Did you not read the post above? Of course you did.
You obviously read all the posted remarks, and wish to stir up trouble.
The “deal” was real. It was quashed by individuals, not unlike yourself, who managed to stop a private transaction, that re-sellers carrying the overpriced Pulsar N550 didn’t want to happen.
Why would you tell forum members to call Pulsar? Do you actually think we’d call a retail manufacturer, and ask if it’s ok to purchase their product below wholesale price? Are you really that stupid? And how odd that you happen to carry their phone number with you. Convenient for re-orders?
Newsflash…Bucky, you hit the wrong forum.
The Pulsar N550 is not an Elcan. At least the Elcan gives you the rest of the camcorder to record your shots. The Pulsar charges more, and leaves that feature out, even though the rest of it is nothing more than a glorified camcorder NV feature, with a powerful IR light, and added reticle.
If you are not a dealer, your post reads like a Pulsar ad, and actually paid full retail, then it’s not us that suffer from stupidity.
I too own a digital NV device. I’ve seen what’s inside them, and I know what they are actually worth. When they are priced at $350 to $400 each, depending on accessories, then it might be a Gen 1+ alternative. It certainly isn’t the quality of a Gen 2 NV. I’ve compared them, and it comes up way short.
Sincerest regards, you trouble causing prick….
Kindly ‘Ol Uncle H 😯 😯 T
PS: Now, run along and quit bothering the adults.
FYI
I bought the Pulsar Digisight N550 months ago. I paid the standard price $1400 for the unit and have been quite happy with the scope. It’s not like standard NV and can be used during the day and night. Standard NV has a green hue while the digital scope is black and white. For night, the scope works well (when used with an infrared illuminator). The onboard IR illuminator is a little weak (and will eat up battery quick). I added the Pulsar 940 IR illuminator (covert to human eye – no red glow). The Digisight with the 940 IR works very well. Critter’s eye glow. The scope is 4.5x magnification. This is okay, but adding a lens doubler would help (up to 8x). But, the doubler lens are sold in England or Scotland and are not cheap.
The scope is big and a bit bulky. The mounting bracket adds height. You’ll need a weaver to dovetail adapter (Kwik-Site adapter from Cabelas $11) to get the scope on the scope rail. That adds a little more height. One of the members of this forum (Baz) has a slick way of getting the scope on the rail.

I would check into whether this super low price of the Pulsar is the real deal. The easiest way is to call Pulsar (972-432-2444) and ask.
Unfortunately, ill feelings fueled by a deal “too good to be true”, resulted in the stock being returned to the wholesaler by the retailer, instead of being liquidated.
Last word….the deal was valid. Everyone has since gotten a quiet refund.
Mike’s a good person, an honest dealer, and an individual to be trusted.
Hoot
Has anybody received their scope?
I agree wholeheartedly that things went over the top and things got misconstrued- My apologies for taking things to a personal level in attempting to defend my good friend in a very long night- everything is back on track and hopefully no hard feelings-
The scope I was referring to is another not to be confused with the Pulsar and it hit customs yesterday and should be here in a few more days and is an un-badged version of the Bushy elite( actually the 2 we are recieving have Mikes logo”Citrus Airguns” on them) will get picture and do a test drive when mine arrives
Thank you and I hope that everything works flawlessly on this deal and future deals….
The pulsars are supposed to be pretty decent, they are digital NV and can be used as a regular daytime scope.
Unless there is something I might not have heard about ,the Bushy 4200 are normal daylight scopes. but I would think the bushy is a better daytime scope. If you mean prices, the pulsars are more exspensive normally.
I would swap my ATN Spartan for a pulsar in a minute. In fact, Id be interested in buying one too.
Are these Pulsar N550 Night vision going to be “equivalent”?
H.O., thanks for the backing. I think Mike has moved on to the business at hand and is doing what he can to get this deal done. I can certainly understand that he was upset by the collective Naysaying…and that My post was the “straw that broke the camels back”. He acted humanly (as we all sometimes do) and lashed out at me. Most of what he and Steve said was unjustified but somewhat understandable considering what he was going through. I think the best thing now is to hope for the best and see what kind of product he secures. Hopefully for all involved it will be a first class Pulsar product. I appreciate all the backing I received on this forum and in retrospect I consider it a test in which I passed with flying colors. The old me would have responded in a much more confrontational manner and things would have most likely ended badly for one of us if not all of us. I hold no ill feelings towards Mike or Steve. We can all move forward and let bygones be bygones.

I dont care who you are, or how many wars you fought in , your not the only Vet on these forums pal. And hideing behind a bible or an American flag doesnt change the first impression of being an asshole.
80, is a stand up guy, and I never heard any thing bad ever said against him on here. His word is good.
There are quite a few regulars who buy and sell from each other on here all the time , So if you think your going to give him a black eye here. Your wrong.
1st) am glad your are calmed down as we are and things said in anger seem to take a life of their own
2nd) your whole arguement or discussion about out grifting a grifter in my mind tells me you have intimate knowledge of this behaviour- but your thinking about it way too hard- what is the grift involved in simply refunding an unhappy, insecure customer his money- where is the conspiracy? The con? the Grift? I keep trying to get you to check with Jim Gaska(marmotmilitia) Etacs,etc-well respected on this forum and the Yellow- who has posted that he and Mike are good- so why do you persist in this trivial grifter pursuit? You were upfront about your past as he was in not having you to his house- fair enough on both sides- as I stated I’ve been on the Wrong side and paid long and hard to prove myself by my actions, so I understand your reaction- but Mike has nothing to prove and has increasing backup from Boi and trusted merchants he has dealt with , so let it go-Have much work to do and can’t address every concern for whatever reason- but when you for good intent or other-imply or impune a persons charachter and honesty-you should not be surprised at the reaction
Steve,
I can appreciate your wanting to let this go. I too would like that. I have five children to provide for and two Jobs so I don’t truly have the time and energy to devote towards this topic.
I could have “let this go” long ago if it weren’t for your taking my objective post personally. My “persistence” is founded upon self defense, nothing more. Never did I attack you or Mike personally. But alas the facts clearly show an attack on me. As Synopsys stated common sense dictates some semblance of healthy skepticism when considering dynamics of this deal. If you are Mike are legit (as many are hoping and banking on) then you should not have found any offense in my words as they were clearly objective and not aimed at anyone.
As I stated earlier I can understand why Mike would get upset (particularly about the part “outgrifting a grifter”). But again, this part of it had nothing to do with him, and everything to do with me and protecting my interests by insuring a means to get my refund back in the event that he was on the grift.
Yes, I know the mind of a grifter inside out. I was raised around it, and I had to guard against it every day while inside. I spent most of my twelve years studying human psychology for myriad reasons, none of which include how to defame or defraud a fellow human being, so your accusing me of doing so is without foundation.
I cannot apologize to Mike for I did not attack or offend him. I can only pray that he receives his just reward. Many good men are vouching for him so it would appear he is on his way to success. Never did he need me in this and never did you need to concentrate any energy on my general statement on “grifting 101”. Therein lies the root of our unfortunate discourse.
I can understand how people get upset (especially builders/tuners) as you can’t please everyone in anything you say or do. I read Mike’s words stating that he may fold up his entire operation and for this I can honestly say that I am truly sorry. If my words (especially the “outgrifting” part which admittedly was self serving in securing my refund…) added to his disillusionment…then I apologize and I beg him to reconsider as many say he is good at what he does and more of an asset to the airgun community than I can ever be.
Please see this deal through and lets get on with our lives.
be4meluz,
I’ve been busy and haven’t heard from anyone since I said I’m in on the 15th.
I see you don’t need me for the minimum order of 25 so I’ll just wait until maybe you have some surplus at a lower price 😆

Update….
As stated above, the “liquidation” of this NV scope was stopped at the originating dealers option.
It was an honest deal, and better than fair offer, that got screwed up by a few individuals who wouldn’t leave well enough alone.
Sometimes a good deal is simply a good deal. You either buy in or stay out. But at least keep your mouth shut, and don’t screw it up for everyone else. Which is exactly what happened here.
Kindest regards,
Uncle Hoot.
