I had a very early Russian model NV. It was shit. I at work used a 1st gen NV and it was huge and heavy.
I am ignorant of modern NV. Is this better than a generation 2? How is the daytime image?

I was wondering about that. I have the ATN PS 22 and it is a Gen 2+ and I am very happy with the image quality. I don’t know much about “digital night vision”. Do you have any experience with them?

I liked the Elcan – only sold it because I had 3 guns I wanted to use with NV so I bought the PS-22 ad-on
For $475 these things are a bargain. Very popular in the UK airgunning community and there are tons of videos on youtube showing the image quality.
When I say they are not better than Gen 3…. that’s true, but I’m not slighting them at all. I’d take one of these over any Gen 1 Scope (Except the old PVS2 maybe).
At that price, why be a lurker?

I paid for mine. I could not find much BOI on Mike, or Steve for that matter. Steve told me that Mike has much dealings with Jim (MM) from TAG. Perhaps Jim will chime in. I do not live very far from Mike. Perhaps I can take a ride up and meet with him, shoot some of his wicked MRODS, lol, bring some of my cool customs…then report back to the boys here and on the yellow. I offered this to Mike via Steve so if he is cool with it we will have to figure out a day.
I usually have good senses when it comes to grifters and although this easily could have had the “footprint” of a grift (considering all the details) I never had that feeling. It wasn’t until all the “controversy” sprung up on the yellow that I began to question my initial instincts.
I sent my money via a paypal gift. I don’t think this is a scam, but I am only human and no man is above suspicion. I would feel much better to put a face and a physical address on the man left holding 12k on good faith.
