R3M /R3 Review and Performance .WoW

Gentlemen;

First of all i want to apologize to Mr. Eduard and all of you, because i brought you incorrect info regarding the loudness of the new R3M, i told you that it is a little bit louder than my M-Rod, but it is not like this,

Okay, let talk about the loudness, what did you say? loud? Hey Hemn what sound are you talking about? 😯 guys if the Condor sound level is #5 and M-Rod is #2 then the new R3M is 0.75 😯 😯 on my point of view, because it is really really quite, yesterday when i did some practice in my fathers backyard all the sparrows and doves or even all birds they were on their position near at me on the trees when i was trying to do some chrony test, never moved and flied, believe me guys,
when i said that R3M is a little bit louder i was in my bed room 😯 😯 when i tried three dry fire,

Eduard you are correct as you told me dry fire is usually louder than fire with pellets …. sorry again…..

it is really really nice rifle and quite also more powerful than the R3,

guys you will be surprised when you see the below strings of the new R3M, here we go……………………………………….

Date Oct 12th 2013,
Edgun Matador R3M, .22 cal, starting pressure was 220 bar as mentioned in the manual.
Pellet; JSB 18.13gr

Eduard please tell me am i sick or these fps are correct ?

Shot# FPS

1 – error
2 – error
3 – 1012 the muzzle was near from the chrony about 50cm the i put the chrony after this shot 60cm away from the muzzle.
4 – dry fire by mistake
5 – 1003
6 – 1003
7 – 1003
8 – 1004
9 – 1005
10 – 1001
11 – 1003 Pressure was 200 bar
12 – 1009
13 – 999.5
14 – 1002
15 – 1001
16 – 1000
17 – 1004
18 – 999.7
19 – 998
20 – 1006 Pressure was 185 bar

29 – 998.1
30 – 999 Pressure was 172 bar
31 – 1002
32 – 998.2
33 – 993.7
34 – 994.9 my place was very very bad for testing my gun so, i had to pull the gun toward me in order to get the perfect position for aiming the target, so, i believe those shots under 999fps occurred because of that.
35 – 995.9
36 – 999
37 – 997
38 – 999
39 – 999.2
40 – 997.9 Pressure was 155 bar
41 – 1011
42 – 997.1
43 – error
44 – error
45 – error
46 – error
47 – error
48 – Fucking error
49 – Fucking error
50 – Fucking error i believe due to the sun set the chrony wasn’t able to read. the last pressure was 145 bar

The average of the total of 39 shots = 1001.2 fps. ( i got the fps of 39 shot that is why i am calculating only 39)

the accuracy is very good out of 40 mtr for me ( since i am a new one to Bullpup and such a high quality of the gun )

Dear Sir Ville; when you read my review you will understand that there are a huge difference between R3 and R3M.

Dear Trygve; please go back to your home and let Mr. Martti ship your new R3M.

I will post the pics of the targets latter…..

Hope other guys who got their R3M share the new info ……………………

Sounds like fun ! I’m really good at that Vodka-part of the game , taken i’m Finnish ( not Finished) so i think i’d have a good chance on beating some Hillbilly ass. Is there like National Champs for that noble sport?

Samething except you take a shot of vodka before you start shooting. 😛

43 shots from 200 -170 bar? You can tune my rifles anytime 😉
You should get at least 55-60 regulated shots from 200-110 bar.

Guys;

With adjusting the HST 1, 1/2 i got the 43 shots with 931fps from 200bar down to 170 bar,

Guys do you think this is a good shot count?

Red Ryder’s on steroids! 😛 I am glad silencers are legal on firearms in my state because they ignore the ones on my airguns at the range and I shoot pistol poker with several ATF Federal guys (using their guns and ammo – thank you America). They have given them a look or two but that was it and then when I said some of the guns were Russian they really got kick out of them. 😳

You got 7.62x39s all over the place. They aren’t really dangerous, relatively speaking. 😆

Of course not ! Totally harmless little BB guns … :mrgreen:

Yeah, that sounds more than little weird … 😯

Exactly what CAN you import ??

Can’t import pellets? Are they afraid someone will eat the lead or make them into something else? You got 7.62x39s all over the place. They aren’t really dangerous, relatively speaking. 😆

Dear Syn ;

Actually i am looking to order from somewhere? ! i don’t know how to buy some JSB, since FedEx will land in the airport in my city and security is really tight, i saked somebody they said pellets are not allowed to import, i have only 1000 JSB, i have more than 3000 of other pellets, but i don’t like them.

I will try to bring them through ground shipping and let me see whether is works or not? fucking country :9: :9: :9: :9: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Your probably going to need more pellets. 😉 :mrgreen:

Ah, I figured you’d probably shot a few groups since getting it!

I’d keep turning it down and see what happens. You can always turn it back up.

I noticed something with mine, if I turn it down too low the velocity jump between shots gets erratic because the reg is set too high. Mine came shooting really hot like yours, but being it is a 177 I think Ed intentionally set it up to shoot hot.

If you like the accuracy you have now, shoot a full string to see what happens to the velocity when you come off the reg. As you probably already know if the velocity starts to climb the reg is set too high.

Your probably going to need more pellets. 😉 :mrgreen:

Dear Secoda;

I will try to do it at 75 and 100 mtr,

Paper targets will be most as i mentioned we have restricted by Government to hunt, and my lovely fall, winter and spring are on their way, and they will bring starling with themselves to me, all chance that i will have for hunting is starlings….

also higher shot count is interested …..

quote SECoda:

I’d leave it at 931 then. You can always tweak it later on. Try it at 75m and 100m if no wind and see if the groups are still stable. You may not see flyers from instability at too high speed at 50m. The question is how do you plan on shooting it the most? Paper targets or sparrows. 👿 Do you need power for hunting or are you interested in a higher shot count? What distances? It’s all good and up to you – enjoy. 🙂

Dears Secoda & Syn;

I have shot almost 400 pellets till now, the velocity before changing the HST was the same as i shot for the 1st time,

the accuracy; i might still new to Bullpup or maybe because of the high speed? the accuracy is not 2cm at 50 mtr as Ed said, the normal group for Matador is 2cm at 50 mtr.

but today when i dropped down the velocity to 931fps i was quite satisfied with the accuracy, at 51mrt i got less than 2cm, however there was a simple wind.

now guys advice me, i have mentioned the original place of the HST i can very easily turned back to the same adjustment of Eduard,

shall i leave as a 931fps or 951fps or 1001fps?

Have you shot any groups at that velocity? What do they look like?

Shoot groups, see what you get. Turn down the HST a little and chrony it to see what you get. Shoot more groups and if they are unacceptable turn down the HST again. Once you get the velocity where you want it shoot a long string over the chrony and see what happens at the end. If the velocity rises as it comes off the regulator than the reg is set too high. If the velocity remains the same once you are off the reg the reg is set properly.

Just as an aside, what is your elevation above sea level? The higher up you are the faster the pellet will go if it was set at an elevation closer to sea level…
