R3M /R3 Review and Performance .WoW

Gentlemen;

First of all i want to apologize to Mr. Eduard and all of you, because i brought you incorrect info regarding the loudness of the new R3M, i told you that it is a little bit louder than my M-Rod, but it is not like this,

Okay, let talk about the loudness, what did you say? loud? Hey Hemn what sound are you talking about? 😯 guys if the Condor sound level is #5 and M-Rod is #2 then the new R3M is 0.75 😯 😯 on my point of view, because it is really really quite, yesterday when i did some practice in my fathers backyard all the sparrows and doves or even all birds they were on their position near at me on the trees when i was trying to do some chrony test, never moved and flied, believe me guys,
when i said that R3M is a little bit louder i was in my bed room 😯 😯 when i tried three dry fire,

Eduard you are correct as you told me dry fire is usually louder than fire with pellets …. sorry again…..

it is really really nice rifle and quite also more powerful than the R3,

guys you will be surprised when you see the below strings of the new R3M, here we go……………………………………….

Date Oct 12th 2013,
Edgun Matador R3M, .22 cal, starting pressure was 220 bar as mentioned in the manual.
Pellet; JSB 18.13gr

Eduard please tell me am i sick or these fps are correct ?

Shot# FPS

1 – error
2 – error
3 – 1012 the muzzle was near from the chrony about 50cm the i put the chrony after this shot 60cm away from the muzzle.
4 – dry fire by mistake

6 – 1003
7 – 1003
8 – 1004

15 – 1001
16 – 1000
17 – 1004
18 – 999.7
19 – 998
20 – 1006 Pressure was 185 bar

31 – 1002
32 – 998.2
33 – 993.7
34 – 994.9 my place was very very bad for testing my gun so, i had to pull the gun toward me in order to get the perfect position for aiming the target, so, i believe those shots under 999fps occurred because of that.
35 – 995.9
36 – 999
37 – 997
38 – 999
39 – 999.2
40 – 997.9 Pressure was 155 bar

43 – error
44 – error
45 – error
46 – error
47 – error
48 – Fucking error
49 – Fucking error
50 – Fucking error i believe due to the sun set the chrony wasn’t able to read. the last pressure was 145 bar

The average of the total of 39 shots = 1001.2 fps. ( i got the fps of 39 shot that is why i am calculating only 39)

the accuracy is very good out of 40 mtr for me ( since i am a new one to Bullpup and such a high quality of the gun )

Dear Sir Ville; when you read my review you will understand that there are a huge difference between R3 and R3M.

Dear Trygve; please go back to your home and let Mr. Martti ship your new R3M.

I will post the pics of the targets latter…..

Hope other guys who got their R3M share the new info ……………………

Dear Brothers Charlie and Ville,,,,

Thanks a lot,,, i am also more satisfied this time,,, i will post full 120 bar string when i get my JSBs,,, God Willing,,,

the accuracy is not matter for the time being since i don’t have JSB 18grs…. the best weight for .22cal air rifles…

here is another string i just took it from my ProChrony

Good string. The barrel will shoot a bit funky directly after it’s polished but after a couple of mags the accuracy will return.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2.

very nice string and unbelievable efficient regulator, less than 1 bar per shot.
Hope you get your JSB 18 soon.

Guys,,,

today i took some shots and wanted to know how my Edgun is performing after my 1st turn,,,

i used JSB 15.18gr , JSB POLYMAG and Beeman 21.14gr….. i took 61 shots,,, 1 dry fire and 60 real shots… pressure was on 200 bar and now it is on almost more than 145 bars….

I turned up 1/4 HST each 2 shots till i got almost 33 FPE ,,,,

Here is a last string when i was stopped and went back home ,,,my brain was boiling under the 42c temperature,,,

JSB 15.88gr …
12 shots,,, Hi 971 FPS,,, Lw 964 FPS,,, AV 967 FPS,,, ES 7 ,,, SD 2

i can say this this what i wanted from my Edgun to give me,,, what do you think guys????

accuracy was not that good because there was a strong wind and ,,, as per Ville explanation,,, the barrel is not performing good directly after the polishing ,,, after some it will come back ,,,

i have wait until next Saturday weekend,,, and hopefully my pellets will be arrived till next week,,,

My Brother ,,,,

Believe me ,,, i was the first one who got/used JSB pellets in late 2010,,, when i imported my Benjamin Marauder,,, no one knows about such a great quality pellets ,,, i took my JSB tins to some hunting shops ,,, and this year they brought a few tins about 20 tins or 30 tins,,, 250pellets/ tin not 500 pellets /tin….. for test only ,,, they could sold out them fast ,,,and they became to know how they are good,,, ?!!

and now they (hunting shops) are asking for my pellets,, LoL ,,,and waiting,,, and i will :butkick: :butkick: :butkick: :butkick: :butkick: :butkick: :butkick:

,,,i ordered these pellets for myself and some close friends to me,,,

thanks,,,

My brother, ,,,,

Believe me still didn’t get time to test this new teg. setting …. and the main reason is iam out of JSB 18.13gr pellets… but I have some 15grs … and other brands. .. but I always prefer JSB 18gr as the best pellet for .22 calibre air rifles. …
And I think my JSB pellets are on there way to me… I need almost 12 days… from UK to my city. ..
Thanks for your asking my brother. ..

i disassembled my Edgun Thursday night,,,it took me almost 3 hours ,,,i fully cleaned parts and cleaned reg, barrel and all,,,,i marked and turned 1/4 clockwise …before some days Tedd told me to try 1/4 clockwise,,,and i was on Viber that night with Sir Ville took advises from him and told me same,,,

hi guys,

Brother Hemn, did you had the chance to test the gun at that reg setting??

Guys,,

i disassembled my Edgun Thursday night,,,it took me almost 3 hours ,,,i fully cleaned parts and cleaned reg, barrel and all,,,,i marked and turned 1/4 clockwise …before some days Tedd told me to try 1/4 clockwise,,,and i was on Viber that night with Sir Ville took advises from him and told me same,,,

i used my degas tool which sent to me from Teed (Oldgoat) it really make it easy and helped,,,,thanks Tedd ,,thanks a tons,,

the reg was set for 130 bar from factory,,,

then disassembled the reg as well cleaned all parts ,,,

two of this is on the way to me,,, God Willing ,,i will get the package within 10days,,,

Removed the top Reg screw

and marked the reg setting,,,

then as shown i turned 1/4 clockwise,,,

i haven’t refilled the gun to test both my new ProChrono and new Edgun reg setting,, ,,, but i saw a vid of Ernest ,,,said that all o-ring should slightly greased ,,,but i think i rather put little bit more great to all o-rings,, when i checked the air gauge from the rear side of the air reservoir i saw some accumulate silicone great inside the air reservoir ,,, i don’t know if this will effect the regulator efficiency or not?? i am thinking of due to the air pressure all the silicon will go toward the regu,,, is it right? or i am wrong?

thanks,,,

Thanks, Hemn. It’s so accurate. I’ll keep the setting for a while. It’s easy to shoot 1/2″ at 50 yards. I’m stretching to 70 and 80 yards. Just love it.

I’m thinking to get a .22 long, it has 24″ barrel. It’s easier to shoot accurately I know from AF talon ss. I tried 12″, 24″ barrels. 24″ barrel performs much better.

Tony said the Long version won’t be avail. for a quite a while.

Dear Charlie,

Thanks ,,, it is nice ,,,i like it … that is a great performance ,, i think with getting some help from experienced PCP men you can make your SP better and closer ,,, but if your accuracy is good then ignore it ,,,

My brother Charlie, ,

That is really amazing and great performance, ,,, I wish I could do same to my Edgun, ,,

That is really great. .. I would like to see the shot strings of your Edgun. ..

quote charlie101:

as Ernest suggested, I reset my Reg. from 1530 psi back to 1700 psi. I still got soild 80 shots around 900 fps( 86 shots before) pefill. It shoots very well.

The HST also back out more. And trigger pulling weight turns from 1.9 LB to 1 LB.

also as Oldgoat said, I lubed the o-rings on Reg. piston and the problem of first high velocity shot gone.

One reason of my POI changed problem I had before is from my swfa ss 10×42. the scope is not one piece like most scope. The front len can be screwed out from the tube.

That part was loose. now everything is good now.

My Edgun Brother Tedd,

that is extremely very nice shooting ,,,,we can say ,,,6 shots = six ground Squirrel head shot kills ,,,,

i can see that is why all poor ground squirrels around you emigrated and you are along there and have to shot an AK 47 shells only hahaha ,,,just kidding ,,, :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

if i were those poor G SQs i would definitely leave your lands ,,,,
