Received my "Knock-off" Atlas Bipod today !
Got the Atlas-copy/knock-off/whatever Bipod today. I haven´t hold an original Atlas in my hand so i don´t know exactly how it feels and so but this one looks exactly like it does on those Greenbase pics and is a well made piece as it seems. Definitely worth the price. As i said before i only have good experience with Greenbase (have bought loads of stuff from them in more than a dozen occasion) and the Bipod in question is as described and well worth those few bux it cost.

By the looks of this it seems like it’s a fixed pod like most. My real Atlas can be set up to shoot on anything. Being it on a big round straw bale to rocky ground. If you can’t cant and tilt this “knock off” it’s still not any better than the rest of them.
I struggled a long time before I pulled the trigger on mine. My friends thought I blew a gasket and my brains all leaked out. But after a day of pesting shooting beside me they did see my advantage with the Atlas. I just wish it would come with a base that attached directly to stud. Makes it too bulky if you have to attach rail to mount it. Cheers everybody I know this is touchy ground 🙂

I posted this about three pages back but Kasey chose to ignore it. (shipped direct from HK and $58.99) Good luck taking an Amazon customer to court for buying this product from their web site.

Your exactly right but once they start licensing these “legal” clones the customers cannot tell the difference when they see them for sale and customers shouldn’t be expected to be lawyers.
Again, the agreement we signed FOR THE V7 REQUIRED the AIRSOFT version to be permanently marked ‘AIRSOFT ONLY” MAKING IT EASY FOR THE CONSUMER TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. I mean I’m pretty dumb at times but the idea I’m out to screw the consumer at every turn is lost on me.
And BTW, they are being imported in small lots as “toys” and “brackets”, NOT AS “ATLAS BIPODS” so there is no customs endorsement… This thought floors me, do you also believe that illegal drugs are being endorsed by customs because they are here?

Once a US company legally licenses Chinese clones (they have to be greedy enough to take that risk) they open a Pandora’s box to identification problems given the cloning environment. Putting some mark on them that customers are not aware of is meaningless.

As i pointed out the place i was looking for them originally has now cut the price to an acceptable level but it’s too late for that – for my part. He had his change…

They don’t know that “airsoft only” ones are the legal ones to buy. They are all out there on the web and look legal eagle. Once they pass customs and shipping that is another endorsement even though it may not be true in reality. Look at all of the Harris bipod clones legally for sale. Are they really legal? Who knows. Beating on customers isn’t the solution.
I am sure if aware of the choice the customer will buy a legal clone for $58 rather than an illegal clone for $47.

The airsoft version is not the current model that we are discussing. Go look at my post on page 5 which shows the difference and you’ll see that the versions that VILLE and JETTAGIRL bought were the knock-off illegal ones; not the licensed airsoft models out of China.

I have one question – a serious one – no, make it two, i´ve tried to figure out the answer to but i´ve been unable to do so.
A – Is that “legalized” Atlas , for soft-air whatever , better than the GB clone , taken both are Made in PRC ??
B – Do you still regard the “legal” clone quality worth B&T Industries and how much sub-par is it compared to the “original” ?? Can you give an estimate in percent, if you find that as an adequate measuring stick ?
