Received my "Knock-off" Atlas Bipod today !
Got the Atlas-copy/knock-off/whatever Bipod today. I haven´t hold an original Atlas in my hand so i don´t know exactly how it feels and so but this one looks exactly like it does on those Greenbase pics and is a well made piece as it seems. Definitely worth the price. As i said before i only have good experience with Greenbase (have bought loads of stuff from them in more than a dozen occasion) and the Bipod in question is as described and well worth those few bux it cost.

I use black button head (hex) wood screws because we need all of the available space for our load. Ace is the place.
Great on the crow hunting and pictures. Slip a few of those in there if you get any. :4: I plan and putting a couple of those clones on my high power modded Condor and Stubby Talon if they seem decent enough. I have eight bipods right now. 😀 Those Compact Cricket guys are starting to talk me into one. Maybe .177 to shore up the bullpup pack. Then the only thing left will be a .30/.35.
My clone lights arrived and work great. The have a smaller head than the prior ones but have the same power LED. They are the five mode instead of three but I only use high power for critters. I’ll snap another picture or two of the Cricket with the light mounted.

Those are machine-type screws used for t.ex AR-15 or alikes that have threads for those kinds. You need right screws for wood. I´ll use swivel studs for wooden stocks both the front & rear holes. Will fit perfectly !
Oh – does it pivot and move side-to-side?
I need to take pics first. Will do on Saturday while at crow hunt;) It pivots and moves side to side and the range/ease of movement is adjustable.
Haven´t even mounted it yet but as said i will come Saturday.

I am trying another source for an Ultrafire flashlight clone I found. I ordered up two. The 1000 lumen claim is bogus but they do about 500. Any more just scares the vermin off.
The body diameter measurement is .98″ and not what they state so the 1″ mount should work fine. The threads leave something to be desired but work. Sometimes the switches go out. It beats $50+ for a Monster or Streamlight rated at 350 lumen IMO.
On the batteries – don’t use two CR123s. I bought some 3400 mah 18650 Panasonic batteries. The Ultrafire 3000 mah batteries are really only about 1000 mah and need semi-frequent charging (2 hours). The Panasonics are very close to their rating but more expensive.
ughhhh the damn post office just lost or they say “delivered” one of the 45 degree attachment for the flashlight mount….now im going trying to have the postal office track this damn 4 dollar piece down cause without it my side flashlight mount wont work….ughhh what a day :3:

Nice pics indeed! I´ll post pics from the hunt tomorrow (or Sunday. It´s mid-summer here this weekend = lots of booze = danger for hangover tomorrow=the hunt may need to be re-scheduled to Sunday) and close-up´s of the copycats.
The crowhunt may turn out to be monumental fun. I´m a “track chief/marshall”) on a nearby Motocross track and we have a big problem with crows diving into the trashcans/dumpsters and spreading stuff all over the place so now i´ll do something about it. I`ll just place some decoy´s and a bit of food rests on a field outside the “club house”,open a window,sit by a table with some coffee and sandwiches and blast those black,winged buggers to kingdom come. The range will vary from 25-75 meters (do the yrds vs. meters math yourself you lazy bastards) so the Edgun .22 will be the gun of choice – no 22LR nor trusty .17HMR needed. I may even take the Gamo Hunter with me for some shots since i haven´t used it for ages. Kinda dust it off.. 😉
