Raisin-nuts…..you have no idea what a semi-auto Edgun would cost!
H 😯 😯 T
I bet you would, considering the price of a single shot Matador is $1950. $1800 for a semi-auto is a fantastic price, unfortunately a semi Edgun would be around $2800… 😀
Evanix makes cars? 😕 I looked but didn’t find anything.
$1800….this is more a piece of machinery than a pcp bullpup!
Is it “Bad” looking? Absolutely, bad to the bone! A show-off piece deluxe. One of a kind, with genuine bragging rights at a get together.
Is it a gun you will shoot a lot? Absolutely….if you consider a “lot” to be perhaps thirty combined minutes of full auto air/pellets. I’d enjoy using one, but I can’t honestly say I’d want to own one. I’d need a Shoebox compressor, a large scuba holding tank, and a pallet of pellets.
Like the other black rifles, AF and such, it looks tactical, extremely specialized, fun to show off, a riot to let other people shoot and enjoy, BUT there isn’t much you can do to modify it…barring a more powerful motor for a larger shots per minute count.
But I’d give serious thought to waiting until several hundred have been sold, and the proper revisions have been made to get it up and running like it really should. Our good friend Naser had that thought identified from the beginning. Right now, I would classify it as a marketable prototype.
Given the complexity of this instrument, I wonder about it’s potential resale value? Lots of things to go wrong here…possibly expensive to fix.
I’d spend $1,800 for a semi-auto Edgun because I know Ed would put his heart and soul into the product before he’d release it for other’s to shoot.
Evanix is a large corporation, and they know their market well. As evidenced by their cars, they are a hard working, intelligent, innovative group, who seem to make few mistakes and tend to correct them quickly. In the future they are definitely a force to be watched closely, as I believe they aren’t afraid to push the limits of innovation and creativity.
Why they haven’t gotten that Kim-chi recipe perfected by now is a puzzlement to me.
Just my thoughts for today….

This made my day!
Oh – and as for the gun, my thoughts are pretty on par with the sheep fu@#er. 🙂 The forestock on that thing must be more comfortable than it looks – it just has to be. I probably won’t get the chance to look at this thing. AoA doesn’t carry Evanix guns, and I’m not dropping $1800 to do a review. 😉
She screatched to a halt, turned around and put her hands on her hips, not knowing she was on fire and stated “what did you call me?”…
😆 😆 😆 Haven’t had such a good laugh in quite a while 😆 😆 😆
Thanks RC!

Synopsys,
I used to have a weakness for red headed women. Spent 30 years off and on with them.
lnsane bitches for the most part.
The longest running one was a very crazy woman who bore a distinct resemblance to Lucile Ball, right down to her mannerisms.
One night she was trying to fill and startup a propane iron I had bought when I became a solar pannel dealer to get a break on the pannel bill for my mountain home.
She did not turn off the petzo lighter before filling and it exploded, she flung her hands in the air just like Lucy and started this insane screaming and ran down the 70 foot hallway of our underground house.
Trouble was half of her red hair was flaming from the propane fire.
I ran after her to extinquish the crazy bitch and finally yelled at her “stop you crazy bitch.”
She screatched to a halt, turned around and put her hands on her hips, not knowing she was on fire and stated “what did you call me?”
I will never forget that sight if I live to be 100 years old.

That is a sobering thought! 😀
Was she a redhead too? 😯
😆
Nasser,
It does look like the poster got in contact with PA and they told him how to fix it, and he did in 15 minutes. That is indeed encouraging.
Yes your so right on first editions on anything, cars rifles computers.
Can you imagine what kind of trouble Eve must have been? 😆

RC, I still agree with your older post & I think electronics, semi auto & also multishot is the future.
I have worked in IT & I can tell you that it’s always best to not buy the first patch, cause once many people start using them all over the world than some issues start to imerage & than they eventually rectify this with a revision update.
Intact even here Cars have the same issue, when I bought my X5 is was the 2nd patch & most of the issues with electronics, AC and some minor issues were updated.
That’s what you get with electronics, some can be rectified with a simple software “firmware” update and some require a revision aka some minor hardware changes.
So I wouldn’t but the cross on it just yet.
Well now.
Seems the wonderful Korean BB gun freezes up.
Echoclap and another guy and someone one says a third have had their guns freeze up and they cna’t get them to budge.
Calls to PA go unanswered, your just put on hold then eventually hng up on.
Echo clap says he has something on it but wants answered by email.
Looks like I will eat my words of praise with a fine helping of crow.
This might be the part about the gun “holding up” I was speaking of.

I’ll offer $50 + shipping for each kidney mentioned in this thread (must ship in a red igloo cooler and sent priority mail – please make sure to wrap the kidney in a ziploc so the cooler can later be resold on ebay as “like new”).
Just planing for the future, you never know when you might need an extra kidney or two.
Ben
That’s a pisser!!!

How much are you going to pay your crew to help run it ?
You`ll need at least one loader, one running air, another running
batterys, chargers. :4: don`t even want to mention the real possible
problem as these attract more attention.
All the time spent loading, air consumption,is going to get tired pretty
fast.Wouldn`t mind shooting it kinda like the old street racers, fun to
drive, but not so much fun maintaining it.How is a gun thats not out
yet be better than proven platforms ?Bring it over though I`ll shoot it. 😀
I personally think that if it holds up, and it seems to, it will be a real game changer in the air gun sport.
All reports that I have read give it accuracy that far surpasses the AF platform and with power that surpasses any and all bull pups, even Old goats beloved single shot Edgun.
And the reports seem to be consistant. I do suspect that there is a learning curve on the battery and charging, but I have seen some operator error posts on the Edgun operation also.
As far as it being an electrical gun, they have been doing this format in air soft for years now, so there is nothing new here. What I do expect to see happen is mods done on the battery and charging system, ie., more voltage and charging ports.
What it is not is a Rogue thankfully.
Evanix has been making very good guns in the under a grand price point, and I feel this will rival guns in the just under two K range.
The other thing going for them, they are here now, they will continue to be here, and the Edgun has not always had that status and its availability is subject to change, but then the same thing could be said for a full auto airgun, altho no one seems interested in them for political reasons, and criminls have far cheaper and far more effiecient guns to provide mayhem with.
I doubt I will sell my Royale for one, or my 120 FPE Condor 25 LBT, or my Ranger 45, but I will some day own a Conquest, whether it is a bullpup or a rifle which I prefer.
And you know what guys, it is perfectly okay to own a Condor, a Royale a Edgun and a Conquest if your pocket book can take the strain.
