This forum makes me nuts sometimes. π Admittedly AF air guns are an impressive platform. They cater to creative modifications seemingly by design. They can be almost anything from a backyard co2 can plinker to a roaring 100+ fpe slug laser that’ll knock down anything with a pulse. BUT, there are other things out there besides single shot bolt actions.
The air gun industry is currently a hotbed of creative thinking and innovation. Individuals and companies are coming up with ideas and products that were unthinkable ten years age. If you can’t have that full-auto suppressed folding stock assault rifle in a PB, no problem…..
Enter the Evanix Max/Speed/Conquest platform. I for one can’t wait to get ahold of one of these things and see how far I can take it. I see a LDC, an 11.1v LiPo battery system, extra mags, you get the idea. If it happens to be a tack driver also, bonus. The one thing I definitely see in my future if I take this route, a shoebox compressor that’s going to get a lot of hours.
My dog loves nuts.
Price depends on size. And I can tell you in the trade that sizing is pretty simple, Small, Medium, or Large.
If you have to be exact it never hurts to have a good nut measurement tool like a good Orchometer for precision measurements:

Wolfeman, here are my thoughts on the Evanix Max.
Sp has posted on the Yellow and also on Airgun Advice about how great the new Evanix Speed shot. He says that it is the most accurate air gun that he has ever shot. He claims to have had/still has several high end air guns and the Speed beats all of them in the accuracy department.
I am still waiting for somebody else to post some results.
That being said, I thought that the Speed was interesting and I was waiting to see what Evanix came up with for a bull pup. I think that the Max is fugly, will not get 40 shots per fill in 25 cal and at 8.8 pounds, will weigh more than a R3 25 cal standard with a scope mounted.
It is semi/full auto and comes with a mag. If I was rich, it would be fun to have one, shoot at a pigeon and then rip at the flock as it took off!
As far as your last post:
1) It is NOT an Edgun: I agree with that. If you order an Edgun, you will have to wait a lot longer than April to get one.
2) You wonβt have a problem with an Edgun outside of O rings and I can send you some extras.
3) It is selective fire and is a bull pup but, I really donβt like the way that Evanix mounts the scope rail. It just looks like an after thought and the fore end looks like it is just a formed piece of sheet metal. I am really disappointed with the way that the Max looks! It is their first effort and they might come up with something that looks better.
4) I am not interested in your left nut but, in the future, I might need a kidney or two. Whatβs your blood type?
I am not rippin on you, just having fun (and a few beers!).
If you buy a Max, PLEASE post your thoughts here! WE will be waiting!
A couple of things;
1) It’s NOT an Edgun, and you’ll be able to get one from PA around the end of April.
2) If you have problems with it, you can return it to PA.
3) Did I mention it’s select fire AND a freakin’ bullpup?
4) No immediate takers on my kidney so how about a left nut? (soon to be on Craigslist)
kidney
That is sooo funny. Lol. Kidney, Bullpup, Kidney, Bulllpup. Hummm??? π I like Bullpups too, but I am happy for now, with my Condor thank God! Maybe someday the prices will come down. I’m not holding my breath though.

EDgun still appeals more to me. Other than the initial thrill factor, I’d like to see some accuracy info before I throw down on one of these.
PA shows that it’ll be available in .177, .22 and .25 cal. Just posted my left kidney on craigslist…..
:nono:
that is pretty bad ass lookin

I love my .22 caliber Speed. When fed the right pellet (e.g., EunJin), it’s a tackdriver. Based on that experience, I’m waiting for the 9mm Bullpup. Then I’m gonna grab it and run, before Big Brother notices a full select-fire in a major caliber–and regulates it out of existance!
