Shiney Thing !!!
Start of new project ,this being a lump of 128x70x30 6082 T6 alloy for my 8 shot rotary mag bullpup. Ive got to put a 14mm hole all the way through this on my tiny lathe for the probe and barrel to line up and a 15mm x 90mm deep hole for the hammer to travel . This all done on an 8″ lathe is going to be scary ! π―
Putting it in a four jaw chuck on a 6mm hold is looking the only way of machining it .Its going to be quite a mass to swing at any speed but il see π
So as with the last gun this is going to take an absurd amount of time to complete and very likely to drag on for far too long. It may also be a no starter if i cant machine these to holes but arfter spending 4 months finalizing the drawings i realy want to give it a go .So L8ter all …….Much Later hehe π

Not completly happy with the cocking handle but im not intending to use it π― . Ive drawn up a cocking handle that uses a bar to the front of the gun. Was going to use a pump action but went through the gun laws to check and found that id have to have a FAC to have it π . Nothing worse than bullpups with cocking handles near the butt pad of the stock , its along way to reach back !. π
So its onto making a mag or two ,which is going to be fun on the rotary table . Going to need a number of operations to get the shape for the indexing arm. Need to sort out the dividing plates . π

Back to the job in hand small update with the magazine slide now finished. π―
Im now turning the probe out of stainless steel , just roughing out at the mo as theres alot of swarf / heat being made π .Wish id had this graphic 3 months back ! took me awhile to figure how the probe worked π .

Take my admiration for yours works Γ’β¬β this one and Talon copying.
It is incredible deal to convert pictures into drawings from forum whose language is not familiar to you and then to embody them to metal with absolute handicraft. Frankly speaking at first glance I thought you have got drawings from some evil-wisher of Demyan, so identically are copy and original. I guess only one or two our master can do such work.
I wish you to quicker come to making your own designed units; no doubt it would be more interesting to you and us.
Do not pay attention to some cries in our forum, they are from people who can do nothing themselves except for crying and pressing the button on keyboard.

Thats a pic of the magazine ive got to make and so far im thinking 9 opperations per hole π― .Thats changing tools and moving cutting positions π― im going to hate it π plus it needs to hold tight tolerance for it to work . Wish me luck….hehe
