Shoebox compressor FAILURE
need help guys my compressor will not pump over 2400psi im not hearing air or seeing bubbles either i keep grease on all the parts and ive only filled 1 4500psi tank a 2260psi and a 3000 psi i figured for almost 400 dollars i should get more use than this

A couple of questions please, since i just got an email that my shoebox is ready & i also sent the payment.
1- Its mentioned on your website ( under power requirments) that you do stock the 220v but sales told me you dont, if not will you get those ?
2- Whats the max (in PSI) i can add to get quicker fills ?
3- Any chance to get more then one or have to wait again my turn ?

the old orings were loose on the shaft but im gonna go get me some more so i got them on hand also my compressor is #38 but hey its all good now and thankyou all for ur help
Good! Glad to hear its working. That glob must have accumulated from somewhere else since we are only putting a film on the back checks now. Save the old urethane orings they are probably still good.

well i found the xtra orings and rebuilt the cylinders still wasnt building up pressure so i removed the airfittings and found there was an excessive amount of grease in there i removed the grease and the back check valves started to seal like they were supposed to so all is working ok and back to normal
Ok then DO NOT remove the upper cylinder it is not the problem.
1. Unscrew the air line fitting at the back of the cylinder and bend the tube out of the way.
2. Remove the c-clip on the cylinder that is up against the block.
3. Pull the cylinder out of the air block and it will come free.
4. Unscrew the black hollow nut in the end of the cylinder.
5. Use a dull pick to pull out the delrin tubes and o-rings in the end of the cylinder.
6. Check to see how tight the o-rings are on the piston shaft. You will probably find that one is loose, that’s the problem.
7. Re-install the parts, o-ring then small black tube, o-ring then last is the long tube.
8. Gently tighten the hollow nut until it sets firmly. No need to over tighten.
9. Replace the cylinder, c-clip and air line. It should work now

i need to know how to take apart the cylinders to change out the orings how do i do that i have it all working it just wont build over 3750psi

only a couple things make the cutout early
if set at original 4500 a decrease will be from friction
did you adjust the collar?
so i found the bad oring and fixed it then when it got to 3500 psi it kicked off the drive arm (aluminum bar with the bend in it ) so now im a little aggravated tomorrow i may just take it to work so i can mess with it there

ok well were back to the same problem again i need some o rings and im gonna completly tear this thing down tomorrow
Spare orings should have come with the compressor. I will have orings and rebuild kits available on the website store soon.

so far so good i feed this thing with 85psi and all i did was pull out the botton cylinder and clean the o rings and tighten the allen screw i didnt pull anything else apart with some things i need pics and were can i get the orings from i need a few sets

I thought it would be an easy thing to get 220 motors for England but its not. I need to change the website, sorry. I have sent a compressor to a good friend of mine in England who has distributed my products in Europe before. He is telling me he has motors that will work so I am hoping to get this worked out pretty soon. Please monitor the ShoeBox forum, we will announce it there.
100 psi input is the max we recommend. If you put more than that it unbalances the load between the pistons and it will shut off at a low pressure.
