Q:

Should I buy a criket?

I ran into some extra cash 😈 and I’m wondering if its worth it being that I have a matador…
I already contacted dima and she told me she only has the walnut in stock but I want this one if it even exists

I have a Cricket in .22 and just ordered a .25. All in WST suite! This will be my third Bullpup!

Go for it. I’ve had mine for a few months now and it just makes me smile every time I use it. It gave me my personal best long range shot head shot on a rabbit yesterday evening. 104 yards. Also had the R3 which was a geat rifle and now seeing the R3m it is tempting but 1600 euro is just still a bit pricy to me.

I don’t think you will be disapointed.

Get a 25 cal. I didn’t have an interest in 25 cal until I saw how much more punch they had at 200 left in them.
Happened upon a great deal on a 25 Matador and I shoot that 99% of time now. So much more power for small game with good shot count and still relatively quiet. You could wait for the R3M. 🙂

I think ill ask Dima if I could get put on a list for either the skeleton stock or ask when the sythetic stock will be in with the cheek piece

:14: I do that all of the time… It’s reason enough to buy one…

Don´t be such a sissy,Jetta 😉 I have a Matador (had two untill recently) and i´m waiting for the delivery of a .25 cal Cricket in walnut (WST). So – of course you should. Run to order – don´t walk.
Once you own both you can change camps every once in a while and trashtalk one or the other depending what thread you´re participating on.

Based on fast delivery I wouldn’t think you would have to wait long to get exactly what you want. I think you can order a std .25 by now.

Just got a message back from dima and the message read

“No just Walnut
Dima”

So I guess .25 walnut it is.

You have a .22 cal.

Get the .25. .25 pellets hitting the target will bring a smile to your face

I have a .25 edgun and a .22 cal cricket. Diversity is good.

take care,

My vote goes for the .25. You already own a Bullpup in .22 so no need for one more. The EdGun & Cricket are very much the same regarding the performance so you already know how a Cricket in .22 will shoot. Kind of…
And regarding that synthetic chicky-bit i´ll give you the same advice as i did for dear Uncle H 😯 😯 t : Buy a wooden one and paint it in right color and live with that untill the synthetic becomes available. No need to thank me, a small monetary contribution to my off-shore account will do …

Now my matador is a .22 cal…and I love the convenience of being able to buy .22 pellets around me while I wait for my online order to arrive…should the cricket I’m thinking of buying be a .25 cal or stick with the .22….

LOL

They claims cheek piece will be available to 2-3 mount. But… who knows 🙄

Yes synthetic but it has a cheek piece I don’t know if they make that forge synthetic stock

But the one in your pic looks like the standard synthetic. Should be available a plenty.

Lol it’s a hard decision I do want the cricket but I want either a stock that I like or a color I like….when I ordered my matador I wanted the painted stock…but I got the walnut….now that I have a choice with the cricket, I want to make sure I get what I want
