I went to the airhog sight, and saw those regulators , they look kind of large ,like the the type used on the refill tanks .
DO they make em with smaller gauges? I called them but just got the machine.

In your opinion ,Has it improved the consistancy? My Condor hasnt arrived yet , So Im a little green with the average stings , as compared to the strings without the regulator .
I was thinking of getting one , I was going to ask which one he recomended for the Condor .
I think for accuacy, were thinking along the same lines , Its important to get consistant pressure behind the shots to get respectable repeateability out to certain ranges .
It seems like shots 22 to 31 were excellent. havven’t tried short filling because the first 20 shots were not all that bad but, you are correct
in assuming that a short fill may increase accuracy…..
Just for shits and giggles, have you tried to fill the tank to only 2700 or 2800 , to try to avoid the variations of the first 20 shots or so?
Is that something worth trying?
Hold over, I got the chance to shoot the JDSairman reg out to
127yds yesterday and I was hitting a 4″ target and burying the
JSB 15.8gr pellet into the end grain of a log……I would say that
this regulator has proven itself to be a very big help in making
my Condor more accurate…Targets at 50 yds are a no brainer
with this setup…..I haven’t counted lately but I think I am getting
about 60n full power shots with the PW on 12/12 and the first 20
shots are more accurate with the PW set at that level…I am getting
a more consitstant hit on the airvalve…
To answer you last question, Yes I think it is well worth trying…..
Airhog also has a regulated system that is putting out 2,200psi
with an average FPS difference of as little as 5 FPS per shot through a 30
shot string…Deadly accurate..One shot one kill kinda stuff…
A fly at 65 yards! LOL, Thats freaking awesome! I have to say I never saw anyone ever even attempt to shoot a fly at 65 ,let alone hit it.

Man you missed this target….The splat you see next to the
2 holer to the right of the penny is the remains
of a fly at 65yds…First shot (Upper) took his head off and the second (Lower)
sent him to fly heaven….And no I wasn’t aiming at his head…I was just expecting
to be really close if not right on. I thought I had missed the
first shot because he didn’t move, so I let go #2 and he disappeared..
It looks to me you can shoot something now besides paper, go kill a snake, head shot at 65yrds, that’s incredible shooting!

Yaeh, I think I forgot jds are 3000 rated and that bomb is pretty close to yo face.
You know maw, I have a 4,500 psi tank but the reg is rated
for 3,000 and I am already over loading it to 3,300…I am not
sure what the repercusions would be if I put 4,500psi behind a 3,000psi reg…I would think it would be catastophic…Ya think?
85 shots that sounds awesome, I cannot imagine the shot count on 4500psi fill, but it would have to be well over 100. I have a jds reg on my 850, and its jacked up some, and it shoots like that one, first shot is slow, then regulates fairly well.
Best I can figure maw, I get 85 full power shots from a
3,300psi fill on this 48 cu in tank…..
Here is one more target that I took my time with…Now
Keep in mind that the wind is blowing 10-15 mph and I am not
changing the POA so the wind is blowing the shots right and
left….It is the up and down deviation that is impressive and
this is at 65yds….Those dots are approx 1/4″ diameter…
Center to center elevation deviation on either group is no
more than .880 inches….That completely coicides with the
FPS results from the previous strings…It looks like this
will be repeatable….I swear if the wind would calm down I could
do a 32 shot one hole group…..
That is the best posting of your reg. numbers yet, I would say that is going to work out and you may have finally got something worthwhile. Do you have any idea on the shot count and is this a 2000psi reg.
Just a follow up on the JDSairman regulated HPA system…
I received the regulator back from JDSairman. I took it
apart and sprayed silicone spray on the washers that are in the housing
to wash out any particles that may be there and to
make sure the washers were well lubricated….I put everything back
together and ran some strings while I shot at a target.
Here are the results.
I know I said I would never buy from JDSairman again but,
I would put up with a lot of BS
to get a regulator to perform like this one is doing…
I found that the regulator was most consistant on PW 12/12.
I increased the PW to 12/12 after shot 10 on the first string.

Target…Wind blowing at 13mph….I was shooting at the same
spot for reference each time for the 2 different strings….
Stock really looks great. Hard to believe that is the original China wood there…. Came out very nice!

I just got a hold of him , he said they were working on some prototypes for the smaller gauges for the condor.
they want to make a bigger shot chamber for the condor gauge .something like 4,500. instead of the 2000 , or 3000 ones out now.
