Tests for TK’s new Minni Compressor? How to "break"
In case you have not been following a paintballer has introduced a new mini compressor for 390$. You can get all the details here:

Anyway I have one on the way (as I think one or two other forum members do) in the next week or two and I wondered what you all would like to see done to the thing? What tests beyond the obvious “how long to fill my tank?” can you blow it up etc. would you like me to try? I am thinking it will be worth attempting some upgrading, filling scubas etc.
Anyway if anyone is in the Tacoma WA area and would like to get together some weekend I am dieing to get out and shoot and testing the compressor would be a good excuse.

pump is working very well.
What I would recommend for filling a Condor/Airforce tank is the Shoebox with a fill whip with a good set of block and bleed valves.
To that I would add a Chemiquip PLV255 set at 3,000psi close coupled to the compressor.
If you have a fill whip with a gauge you can dead head the compressor to adjust the Pressure Limiting Valve at the 3,000psi or whatever fill you like.
Make sure you get a hose rated for breathing air at 6,000psi. Check out paintball hoses, micro lines as well provided they have the pressure rating.
I was messing around with an adjustable cutout but have since gone away from that. I use one of those Chemiquip limiters and it works way better. The compressor will fill the tank until it hits the 3,000psi. Then the limiter stops the tank fill and the compressor then pressures the short plumbing up to 4500psi at which time the Shoebox cutout stops the motor.

I have the SST unit. Cycled it a bunch and it is very repeatable as to shutoff pressure. Cheaper than a regulator and will accomplish what airgunners need for adjustable fill pressures.
