texan repair parts
I live in Canada and wanted to get a new trigger sear for my texan which was damaged trying to remove a jammed bullet. I called Airforce to get parts shipped but they requested that I send it back to them. The false flag gun shootings in Oregon are just making it tougher for guns owners. It’s just an agenda to take away our firearms. I recently had my condor 9mm barrel kit made with an extrreme valve and wow is it ever a treat to shoot when my texan is going through repairs. I wouldn’t mind selling my texan to get another airforce condor or talon to make a 2nd bigbore. If anyone is interested or has a way to supply the Airforce gen 2 safety and trigger let me know 🙂 i was also thinking of getting a 9mm barrel made for my texan which would be a cannon 🙂 .308 too but first this beast needs new parts.

There are many ways to fix and upgrade airforce rifles and so far my condor has been the most reliable pcp I ever owned. I have taken so many of my pcps to airgunsource.com to fix and they never charged me $192 just to take apart my rifle. The most I ever paid was $60 so I continue to do lots of business with them. I paid $1600 for my texan and now it’s for sale for $1200 at airgunsource.

Considering the rifle has a removable barrel why would you pound on it while still installed in the frame?
It is only held in place with set screws into an aluminum frame.
You remove the barrel to remove a slug, not pound on the slug while still in the frame.
That gun would not be covered under warranty after all the damage that was done to it by the owner.
I saw the picts of what you did to that rifle.
To bad a nice rifle was damaged so much when it did not need to be to simply remove a slug :3:

You pay or you likely don’t get your rifle back until you do.
I bet three hours were spent trying to save that barrel. Getting the remnants of the stuck bullet out. Still needs work on the areas around the barrel bushings that you beat on so bad that the barrel gets tight at each damage site.

I use a sizer to trim down the bullets to .457 and already experienced this with my samyang light hunter 45 which works great but cannot fit 480grain bullets. Alot of the .457 480 grain bullets worked but some of the ones I casted came from wheel weights which also had other metals which made the bullets really hard. It’s fun shooting 480 grain bullets into stones and watching them explode. This gun is definitely a treat when it comes to power. It’s not easy to get it shooting accurately like my condor at 100 yards but it’s definitely a beast. I am currently enjoying my 9mm condor kit with extreme valve while thus texan becomes a new project.

So I guess the consequence of moving the hurricane from the east coast caused the flooding we are getting here in South Carolina. Also y in the hell would you keep shooting bullets that jam in your gun? The bore is 457 not the 459 or 460 that cast at. Wheelweight lead sucks. Hey pure lead and a sizer and you can shoot that gun super accurate.
I know how to fix my airforce condor but haven’t played with the trigger system. The texan is similiar but I got the trigger sears damaged when trying to removed a jammed bullet while the breech was opened. A bunch of set screws came loose when I kept forcing a cleaning rod through the barrel by taping it repeatedly. It worked a few times with other jammed bullets so I didn’t expect this time to break the trigger sears.
