Here is a 5 shot group from my Dad’s .25 Lelya at 25 yards. It is averaging 727 fps with JSB exact kings. My .22 came with a regulator that is not regulating, so I am going to have to pull it apart to inspect the o-rings.

Good morning friends. First of all congratulations on your beautiful rifles Lelyas . I’m buying one in .177 and would like someone who had this caliber to comment on the accuracy and put a string. Thanks for the answers.

It’s about damn time! Ed and Tony deliver :8:

Mine came! Leadbetter really recommend this scope. He loves vortex!

Wow, I’m liking what im hearing so far about the new Lelya’s . I’m really looking forward to receiving mine sometime today. 😛
Lets see some groups guys.   :thumb:

I received my Lelya shipment yesterday. A couple of notes regarding the gun:

1. The fit and finish on the gun is exceptional. The slide action of the gun is very solid when cocking it.
2. Tony did an exceptional job packaging the guns
3. Ernest had mentioned in a previous post about how he thought the feel of the Lelya was awkward. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and natural the feel of the Lelya is for a small gun. I grip on the gun is nice and I don’t feel like I am going to shoot off my fingertip for it being a short gun. The gun feels like you can hold it very steady even in a standing position.
4. I disagree with the consensus that this gun should use High or Very High scope rings. I am using Medium 1″ height rings and the scope is the perfect height for me.
5. I think the pull off cap that covers the fill port is a good design.

I just got my Lelya today!!! Looks great and is shooting very well already. Shooting the 22 cal JSB 15.9gr at 820FPS.

One of the few things I don’t care for is that you have to pull off the cover below the barrel to fill the tank with air.

Is that a March scope?

Show off ! :butkick:

This guy is blind as a bat unless it’s spelled b-o-o-b-s.

Damn show-off! Haha, that’s a baller setup!

Hi Leady,

well a bit of limited experience with small pb calibers

Would like to own an AR-15 full auto but not possible but back in the days of service I liked my FAL .308 WITH grenade
launcher very much.

My mistake in my previous post, I was referring to a HW45 and not HW40.

Hell pippy your English!

How do you know what a powder burner sounds like ?

I’m not being this time mean either 😐

Well I don’t know the Ocelot but the Veles without the moderator sounds like a .22 LR pistol.

The problem is that with the moderator it gets almost as long as the Lelya and if you consider that at this point anyway you need to shoot it two handed and that most probably you will mount also an optic I don’t see the point in not directly eventually getting a Lelya.

:2cents:

Pippo my friend, that statement is full of DOO DOO AKA garbage.

I have the .22 Veles sitting right here and I tried it with and without the LDC. With the LDC it’s the quietest PCP I own or ever heard. Without the LDC it sounds like a loud clap and nothing like a .22 pb as you claim.

Ig720 my friend,

ALL PCPs without a moderator sound like a firearm, the shorter the barrel the louder they are, the Veles is no exception.

Mine was actually louder than my Walther GSP .22 LR according to surrounding people.

If they got quieter today, this I don’t know but I believe it still has a short barrel or you can turn the velocity down next to 100 fps and it will be nearly silent.

The HW40 spring/piston pistol (it is not a pcp) when it gets warm and at full power setting (6 ft/lb) it sounds also like a .22 pb and I have to stop shooting, not every shot is like that but the warmer it gets the louder it becomes, it is what it is. (I mention the HW40 just to say that even a pistol with much less power than the Veles can sound loud)

So, also airguns can be as loud as an .22 firearm and sometimes even louder and this is why it is much more difficult to quiet down a high power airgun than a .22 pb, ask the experts in this domain (ldc makers).

Now turn your Veles to a reasonable speed and then let me know how it sounds without an LDC.

What is not loud? Comparison if any? Can I shoot it in the back yard?

Yes, it is backyard friendly. A good comparison IMO is a prod with a gaska mini mod on it.
