Birdie, I think I too shall wait a bit on this one… Gonna let some of our on line air gun buddies be the guinea pigs on this. When everyone else jumps on the bandwagon a year from now, I’ll be right there with ’em, but not right now… :2cents: :8:

I really do not care what they call this new Colibri , Doggie Dick or what ever , as long as it proves to be a true
semi-auto that will function without flaws and is quiet enough in .22 cal. to be a back yard shooter , I would
buy it . However , KalibrGun still has to prove itself with this gun because their record in making a semi-auto
is piss poor and they will need to post on YOUTUBE how well this gun works so buyers can see what they are
getting for their hard earn money which the makers want to earn . :2cents: Hopefully they got it right this time .

do you know lego bricks? Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
ABS is very light, very tough plast.

Might sound crazy but i think i will get rid of my 2 HW100s to fund this new beast. Will be lot more fun!

ok ,Wing thanks, roger

Nah sorry I have no info on this pup..
Best to contact a kalibrgun dealer for further info.
The stock looks to be plasti-dipped wood..
The air tube looks to be the smaller dia Cricket tube of about the same length as the .25 Cricket.. Id expect the rodent has simalar figures to the bug

They advertise this gun as a semi-auto which to me means it will shoot every time as fast as you can pull
the trigger until the magazine is empty . If it is anything less in performance then this gun will be a piece
of shit like the last one and the makers will lose all credit-ability for the guns they make in the air gun world .

Wingman , thanks for the pics (I think, maybe not, now you have me wanting another a/g ) do you have anymore info, = the stock material color options & most of all what does it weigh ? thanks in advance, roger

I would change the name too given the history of the Colibri. :biggrinn:

I don’t think it is called colibri, it is called Kalibrgun Capybara

To me the square shape looks cool, similar to the older Walther GSP design ….

I bet its not going to be a semi auto, You know pull the trigger and bang bang, Your going to have to cock the lever each time you want a pellet in the barrel.
and just the way I like it to, But with them big magazines no problem.
Just make it so.
Simple guns just make the best guns. IMO.

I would love to have a reliable semi for rabbit duty. One shot is usually good but rabbits are finicky and don’t always go where you think they will go. A quick follow up would be sweet.

Linking picture for those too lazy to click…

I am ok with the square look. Whatever is best for manufacture. But I am very much in the function over form camp. I’m not afraid to spray bomb a gun for camouflage!

It was never fixed from design problems and so bad it was discontinued. Only the handiwork from skilled gun smiths made some of them work.
