Seems there is only a few reviews out there… these have been in the states how long? One guy read his priest his last rights and sent it packing …. so either those that have them are totally happy and don’t post or there are not many out there..
Was interested… but don’t seem to be much good info out there about these.
Where are all the priest owners at…. would like to here more
I have probably tinkered with this gun more than any other owner at this point. I can say with confidence there aren’t any glaring issues I have found as of yet. Yes you should keep some spare orings around if you take the bottle off much. Yes you should grease it a bit with silicone grease when you install it. Use rubber orings, not urethane and everything will be fine with the bottle. As with any guns you could find ways to make it “better”. But as of now I am a happy consumer. I am highly considering a .177 barrel and a low power tank for it. So ready for the arrow barrel but I may end up with a Benjamin after seeing the mediocre performance from every other arrow rig. For what the priest is, I call it top notch.
As for Leo, I’m not so sure about his judgement on this one. The only point I agree with is the set screw on the threads at the valve. I haven’t confirmed this on mine yet but in the future RTI should mill a flat spot for that set screw to rest. Other than that Leo’s review on the priest is a load of shit imo.
What problem? I missed that
it will be great to see more reviews and see if the first series problem has been resolve
Where are the reviews?
Except for a few, there is not much to read around here. Am I missing out on anything?
The review at GTA is not quite as negative http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=120089.0
Uh, as far as I’m concerned, the negative review is of a production unit so I’d say these are all manufactured the same. So now the question becomes, do YOU feel these are “broken” in the first place? If you feel they are not safe then no, they are not “fixed”.
I take it no one knows if the possible issues pointed out have been resolved. I.e. Fixed. ?
No sir, I’m talking about possible future liability, or lack thereof, if it ever were to go there. It probably won’t, but the possibility seems to exist.
Yeah, I wouldn’t expect anyone besides big box stores to offer any money back guarantees simply for not liking the gun.
Hey, it’s just a 2000$ gun. For these lower price class guns the factory expects the owner to go and change the grub screw to a longer one themselves. If you go and buy a Yugo you can’t expect them to do a recall

So does the regulator on this bottle use Belleville washers on the piston?
