The Wiley Thief and Liar , Strike II
Received my GG&G ( what does that stand for anyway – Gay, Gay & Gayer ?? ) knock-off today from GreenBase. The first thing that strikes me is the weight,or the lack thereoff. The second being there´s no free-play of any kind- on any of the connections/joints, which is a good thing. The third is the Chinese still haven´t learn to use any Loctite.
I need to test it in the heat of the battle against targets and plinkers but it´s definitely worth its measly price 35$ any day.

I’m checking out of this thread permanently. What each other buys is non of our business, other than ammunition for opportunity for casting stones. We can all do better cause nothing is ever gained.

You know what Sir Ville….I apologise for the retorts. My original post wasn’t aimed just at you. A lot of people here seem content to purchase the knockoffs. I was just speculating that after dropping thousands what’s a couple hundred? I tend to feel this way when buying something…..If I can afford the top end than why not just get it over than buying cheap as I will wonder what I might be missing. I don’t want to start the year off with making enemies on here…so I apologise.

Do you guys like and trust the plastic Magpul accessory rails enough to drill your stocks to match them or do you look for aluminum ones to attache to your forearms ???

I find this thread ironically humorous. Based on many of your signatures I see several thousands of dollars in air guns/scopes. But you wanna bitch about the cost of a well made bipod? You have to remember that GG&G and B&T Industries didn’t design their bipods for the airgunning community. Their equipment is designed to handle the recoil of much more powerful guns than a. 30 airgun. I own 2 Atlas’s and would gladly buy another because I know that the chances of them failing on my airguns or my powder burners are slim to none. I wouldn’t place the same vote of confidence in a Chinese clone. Say what you will about the cost of them but after paying 2k for an airgun and $500 or more for a scope (how much do those Deltas go for….thousands right? ) what’s a couple hundred dollars?
