Just couldn’t be doing with that bottle Mam’ 😥

Can you hook a normal AF bottle to that reg’ ?

quote fastfreddy:

Hold over that is strong and I am seeing that the condor/talon shooter needs a lot of data on the weapon to be consistent but if you have good data on all the controllable vairables it appears to keep up with anything made.

Does the air hog reg take care of the need to adjust I have been told it will and I am considering getting it but the tank is tough to look at 🙂 once I get past that it would be ok because the condor/talon look fantastic.

What is the distance with the air hog regulated tank kit for kills on lets say a raccon with head shot just wondering how much power is lost with the kit and how much consistency is gained.

The youtube guy must go down.

I

No need to adjust with the Airhog because the FPS doesn’t have a bell
curve. With the Airhog valve the chrony looks like this for 50+ shots from
a 4,500psi fill down to 2,900 with JSB 15.9gr

Low 1036.5
High 1093.5
Avg 1074.5
ES 30.36
SD 7.05
With the US Blodnob valve it looks like this for approx 120 shots from a 4,500psi fill
Low 902.4
High 928.2
Avg 915.7
ES 25.84
SD 5.34
92yds looks like this and carrying 18+FPE at the target

65yds looks like this and

the bottle looks like this

Thanks max I wonder if there is a cover like the one on the condor/talon tank stock. I might get over the tank faster if there was a foam cover for it to make it look like it belongs. Function should always trump fashion but it’s always nice to hope.

with a condor you can take out a raccoun using kodiaks at over 100 yards easy. If you want more pwer just shot heavier pellets like the Eunjins 28.5 grain or the 32 grain.
Having regultor will not sorten your killing range, it will increase it, because power with no accuracy then there is no hits and no kills. I would say it will increase you killing distance.

I

Yup, agree with that 100%
You get a few tight shots then you have to adjust slightly for the next few shots and so on…
Need a reg’…… 😕

I was shooting 2 inch (not 4 inch) clay pigons at 115 yards last week (stationary) So Id say it was sub 2 inch, maybe inch and a half

I would get 4 in a row then, Id have to ajust my scope again. I think I need a regulator on it .

I know the Condor can be a great long range shooter (100+ yards) but I think the shots need to be consistant to get a good group.

YEEEE HAAAAA !!!!!!!!

Just shot a couple of groups at just under 2 inches, including 2 bulls and a nice cloverleaf 8) 8)
Wind right to left at about 5mph
Prone with bipod.
At the farm at the mo’ will post pics when I get back….

I am going to get a camera just to reply to that guys video on youtube and I’ll do it from a supported firing postition should be fine with no wind. His groups will go down.

I keep getting mixed reviews on the EJ pellets are they really that accurate at distance?

Sub 2″ doable? My wife shot under an inch with my Condor .25 once. My best is just over 1.25″ if memory serves.

Perfect windless day, evening just before dark. Shooting Kodiaks at 960fps MV.

Ive had many groups under an inch for 4 shots, you know the rest.

The group Im most proud of at 100yards was under 4″. It was 30 shots, one fill, with 42gr EJ Pointed. I got a pic of that one somewhere.

Sorry FF. I thought that was your video. In a few weeks I plan on taking a trip to the range and doing some 100 yard shooting with my 24″ condor and my 24″ BSA Scorpion (both .22) It is pretty windy down here in Fl This time of year, but hopefully I’ll get a descent day to have a go at it.

C’mon Mamcrackin. Bust out your video camera, you got this.

Might not be fair…Mine is regulated…..No video camera either….Small digital camera with video but not that much memory ability….I am pretty sure sub 2″ is doable. especially off of a full bench rest….

Sorry grit those aren’t my groups it was a clip I found on youtube and was just wondering if anyone had tighter groups (I hope to get tighter groups) but I was hoping someone with a talon or condor could let that guy have it.

FastFreddy,

Nice video. You should have secured that piece of foam board your target was on. It was moving all over the place. How much are those scope mount cameras??? Thanks.
