Q:

Trigger mods…better accuracy–

dis-assembled gun down to the point I could remove the 3 springs and agim accesss to contact points. Only able to get to 2 of the contacts..that was the 2 places on the center piece. To get to the others would mean removing those “pins” or “rivets”..and I’m not up for that..Used some 800 sandpaper that I put a couple of drops of oil on. Maybe 2 dozen strokes or so at each point, then cleaned then up with Q-Tips. Removed 1.5 coils from each of the 3 trigger springs, and put gun back together. Trigger feels a LOT better than it did..smoother and quite a bit less pull 😀 Below are some shot gtoups I did after doing the modifying. They were done at 25 yards..The one where the shots go down is cause I just wondered if I could do it..The other on on that same piece of paer would have been pretty good, ecept for the flyer(my fault, not the gun). The single group, which is just one hole is THE BEST I’VE evers hot with any airgun 😀 😀 😀 All 3 groups were 7 shots..all other info is written on the targets. IMO, that little bit of work on the trigger was WELL worth the effort…

edited to add: those are one inch squares on the targets.

I’m with wolfman…….. 😉

Well, if Wok has this tune for evaluation, I’d be hard pressed to find a better tester!

Is this reminding anyone else of Admiral Bullshit?…..

You have our attention, put up or shut up…. 😐

Hi guys..!
I’m new in the forum, and I would be very interested on the trigger upgrade Sniper III is talking about, but… I need more info, pics..!

Well, I’ve done the testing and got it to be so sensitive it’s crazy. I even had to tune it down as it was too sensitive! I have it now at barley a 1-2mm pull and it’s excellent. It has made this great gun even better. It now has a solid feel/pull with the Wok’s trigger shoe. It will eliminate anyone from having to pay $50.00 for an aftermarket trigger! The trigger is excellent as is, as what is there is great and does not even need to be polished (as some have suggested).

I have submitted the tune to WalkonKing (Aka) Adam to review/test it and possibly offer it as a package with his trigger tune or a stand alone upgrade. I have also included an extremely easy way to disable the safety and not effect the warranty in any way and best of all no pins need to be removed etc. I waiting for Adam to review it currently. I believe this tune should also work in the Condor as the geometry is the same as the Talon.

You will want this tune!

Stay tuned,

Peace.

interesting…i’d like to see some pix, too

I know this request is A TON OF WORK, but there should be a tutorial of some type to modify the trigger where it will break like glass.

I have a cheapo TF79 that has a FANTASTIC trigger pull where one can place pellets on top of the other at 10 meters. The TSS has a really bad 2nd stage that has enough creep that it really does affect the aim. Still love the gun, but damn… Trigger needs to go.

indeed, give this its own post, complete with description and pix…. 😎

details man… we need details!

and you know the old saying… no pics, no happened

… btw – welcome to the mad house!

I can tell you that the trigger sear that AOA sells is well worth it. It smooths the trigger significantly. I really would hate to polish any part of the stock AF trigger because I’ve seen already how easy it misfires by just spraying lube on it (accidentally while spraying the breech once). I have hole on my garage door now because of it. The AOA sear is a quality component. I use to always pull my shots because the friggin stock trigger was so rough, now I have a nice smoothe frist and second stage that it’s like it’s not there.

Also use a brass punch to remove the pin if necessary and use the right size to not damage the frame. You can buy new blue pins from AF if you scuff a pin, no problem.

This is exactly why I spent time on this as the stock trigger is bad as most say. This is what makes my mod (I feel) better and easier as you don’t need to change the trigger that is already there as there is nothing wrong with it. My mod can make the trigger pull about 2-3mm no play up to 5mm with 2-3 mm play. No polishing or removal of any parts of the trigger are needed and you don’t remove any pins and it can be put back in seconds and anyone can do it and adjust it how they like it.

If there are enough people interested in a trigger mod, I have something maybe in the works. I’ve done done a bit of QA on it an it works extremely well but want to do more testing.

This mod does not require any polishing or removal of any pins etc. Actually it’s a drop in setup and easy to do and makes a hair trigger out of any trigger used and I mean like a 3mm pull with no play. Best of all it does not harm the gun nor the warranty if you want to put it back to stock for repair. Also it will work regardless if the safety has been removed or not.

How many would be interested in this? How many would pay for this setup or info?

Yewd thot that guy in Kalifonia that maiks the Ar15 triger gard thingy wuld have figgered out how to put a Timmy tirgger in et.

Yeah, no shit right?

Why are airgun makers so retarded they alway keep reinventing the wheel? We should have a Ad Campaign that says

“Wake up dumbshits” and introduce them to weaver rails and Timney Triggers.

Sam 😉

Well, you WOULD think that a gun that is SO nice in many aspects has a trigger that’s 87 times WORSE than the trigger on a $100.00 Crosman StormXT 🙄 🙄 (just as an example) Or, like I’ve said before, maybe I’m just spoiled from the trigger on my AA S410……now THAT is a trigger. But I’m gonna keep tinkering with the TSS, it’s a lot better than stock, but still can use some work….
Hate to remove those pins, since the gun is blue, there’s no way to touch up the finish if it were to get damaged….
