Q:

Trigger Time Heee! Haaa!

Ok this is what I am shooting a Condor high flow valve 22 cal and just took off my 24 inch barrel and put on an 18 inch barrel, fill pressure was 2400 shot 30 shots down to 1600 psi Top hat set at .086, 40 yds using JSB 18.1 gr pellets IMO it did very well for stock valve. I have never really done many strings and recorded them but thought it was a good time, weather here is sunny 50 deg very little wind just a nice day to shoot and what day isin’t 😆 Anyway groups were outstanding Top left target 5 shots .250 ctc top right target 5 shots .250 ctc Bottom left target 10 shots .375 ctc Orange circle and bottom Right target same 10 shots .375 ctc. moved scope up on the top right hand target for those groups that is why the poi is a bit different This is about the best groups I have shot with my Airforce Rifle and the first where I did a string and recorded it. Pictures are attached! I am sure I forgot something just let me know what you guys that do this or have just done it a few times think of it mainly the string the accuracy is in the picture I am really pleased with that can’ t ask for any better as far as I am concerned 😆 Next time “Mamcrackin” shooting 60 and 100 yds to come!!

I’m sure something could be figured out. 😆

Jeff’s Avatar looks pretty much portable just have to figure out what to do with her when you get her were you want her 😯

That one looks like it would be fine and portable too….

Not a bad idea mam! This is the one I have: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_95065____SearchResults

I got mine at a local Basspro a few years back. I did not pay what they have on the site though…..I think it was more like $80-$90 on sale. I will look for them the next time I go.

Eddie, nice shooting , Have any pics of your gun? May we see them,Please.
You have a home built shroud,Yes? Pictures Please. Did you open a Photo bucket acct.?
Take Care,Bob

Bob I do I will post them here today and yes I have made several different configurations of shrouds the pictures I have is with my 18 inch barrel with shroud needs painted yet but still playing around with it made it so I can take the internal parts out to play with different baffels and such! right now it is working very good for me so painting it up is next on my list and yes I do have photo bucket not sure what you need to see all of my pictures let me know I started using photo bucket to get pictures in here on TAG and have been adding some from time to time. Here are a couple I just took, like I said shroud needs painted but here is the Condor I have tinkered with walk butt plate and trigger guard did the trigger mod for adjusting trigger myself nice addition houge pistol grip with walks mod to mount it, 8-32 x56 Leapers mill dot scope I also modified my breech cocking knob by putting a brass insert in to avoid stripping the delrin breech threads so most of the time lately I shoot it allot and have fun with it pinney squirrles don’t like it nor do the grackles but I do shoot targets allot to always fun to I look at as a hobby a fun one for sure!! 😆

That looks like something that interest me Mam and good price I know I keep looking at something other than a stationery bench like the one I have I shoot well off of it but you just have to be carefull not to lean into it I never thought much about it until one day I was on my target looking through the scope and felt myself pushing into the bench to steady things up a bit so I realaxed and when I did gun also moved along with it so as long as I know that things are good but one like you posted Mam would be good sitting in the center of it might just have to give one of those a try I still like portable to take and move it or take it along with you thanks for the info. That is a nice bench Jeff right or left hand shooters is a good plan to I have a couple friends that shoot on the wrong side of the gun so they would do well also. Lost my avatar the other day not sure why? don’t remember where I got it have to find another one I guess.

Something for you guys that are thinking about building shooting benches….
I have one of these and it is somewhat portable… I set my gun rest on top of
it and it is pretty stable….

Yeah I have been wanting to build a stationary bench for a while to. I only do about 5% of my shooting off a bench so it’s not one of my top priorities. I am thinking about building this one: http://airsupport.wordpress.com/2009/08/26/shooting-bench/

Thanks guys Jeff I use a protable bench nothing fancy stationery front caudwell Rest with small sand bag attached ajustable and a bigger sand bag in the rear that the rear grip rest on kind of squeezed on both side of the rear grip so it craddles inside the rear sand bag, bench is ok and works for me just have to make sure you are not leaning into it and pushing against it when you are shooting I shot allot when I was younger allot of bench rest 22 rim fire and some casual center fire shot quite a bit of 22 rim fire at 50 yds and 100 fun shooting my eyes get tired quick now so I just walk away for a while it does help. I am going to make a stationery bench this summer just wanted to make sure where I wanted it before I built it I can get 100 yds also 200 but need to be careful and get more dirt for a back stop to make it safe.
