Q:

Trigger Time Heee! Haaa!

Ok this is what I am shooting a Condor high flow valve 22 cal and just took off my 24 inch barrel and put on an 18 inch barrel, fill pressure was 2400 shot 30 shots down to 1600 psi Top hat set at .086, 40 yds using JSB 18.1 gr pellets IMO it did very well for stock valve. I have never really done many strings and recorded them but thought it was a good time, weather here is sunny 50 deg very little wind just a nice day to shoot and what day isin’t 😆 Anyway groups were outstanding Top left target 5 shots .250 ctc top right target 5 shots .250 ctc Bottom left target 10 shots .375 ctc Orange circle and bottom Right target same 10 shots .375 ctc. moved scope up on the top right hand target for those groups that is why the poi is a bit different This is about the best groups I have shot with my Airforce Rifle and the first where I did a string and recorded it. Pictures are attached! I am sure I forgot something just let me know what you guys that do this or have just done it a few times think of it mainly the string the accuracy is in the picture I am really pleased with that can’ t ask for any better as far as I am concerned 😆 Next time “Mamcrackin” shooting 60 and 100 yds to come!!
Here are the numbers kind of hard to read on picture

Looks good!!!

Lookin’ good eddie’ 😎

That is some impressive shooting eddie… I think you have a winner….

The 100 yard groups look great! Try at 65 yards again and I bet you can get them to group under an inch. 😉 What kind of setup are you using? a bench? bags? or how about a pic of your setup?

mill dot but wasn’t sure where I would end up on the small target so just used center of cross hair on upper tartget to get an aim point for the 100 yd shots your pictures came through ok BIG I sent you an email not sure what camera you have but see if what I said you can do have a good one Leroy!

Strechin her legs . Looks good are you using a mildot scope or just wingen it.

Got to sneek in some shooting today Wed! my Chrony didn’t like the overcast and wanting to rain weather but wind was minimal and still a pretty good day to shoot and I was very pleased with the results Mam I shot both the 15.9 gr JSB and the 18.1 as you can see from the targets both did very good and am happy with both still another day to come for some speeds on both pellets need to get air today so probably towards the weekend going to shoot some more 65 and 100 yd targets with a fill of 2600 these targets were shot with a fill of 2400 that’s what my tank had in it and my hand pump isin’t doing to well 😥 Anyway if I confused you on all the writing on the target and arrows the top two targets are 65yds 5 shots at each circle aiming at the red circle, the bottom two targets were shot at 100 yds and the aiming point was the the top red circle and poi was down on the lower side of the target as marked all in all all groups were at 1 1/4 inch ctc so I am very happy with thatfrom 65 to 100 groups stayed about the same! not sure I can do my part every time but apparently I did today gun is shooting fantastic and with the 18 inch barrel I think it’s doing really well and makes it more managable for me I like the length with a 6 1/2 inch shroud extending from the frame its looking good.

Packrat what I meant by a stock valve is the Condor valve no mod’s done to it just what it comes with a high flow valve! and my power wheel setting is at 0 top hat I think I mentioned was at .086

quote packrat:

Well, you said you’re using a hi-flow condor valve, then you say you think it did good for a stock valve???? so which valve did you use to shoot that string????and what wa the PW setting?

Packrat, AirForce has a Talon valve (Low Flow) , Condor (High Flow),
Micro Valve (Really Low Flow) , and co2 valve (Old Version of the Condor
High Flow)…. The valve he is using is the Stock Condor High Flow valve.

Well, you said you’re using a hi-flow condor valve, then you say you think it did good for a stock valve???? so which valve did you use to shoot that string????and what wa the PW setting?

Mam’ what software is that? Where can I download it from??

Eddie maybe in another thread “Other guns” you could post a string of your RX-2??? I have a RX-1 in .177 and it’s a laser.

I think I figured it out.. Thanks for the prod Walter…..

I think I need to make the amount of shots at the bottom of the graph equal
the amount of shots recorded… The Top graph looks ok but the bottom one
makes it look like the gun is wacked until you look at the actual FPS values…

I am gonna work on it and hopefully not screw it up beyond repair…. 😯

quote mamcrackin:

Yea Walter, I am not the best when it comes to manipulating computer
programs…. It looks a lot better when it is not so erratic looking but my
capabilities are maxed out…lol

Mam, your computer work is just fine and about two decades ahead of me 🙂
I am too old an old fart to really know computter stuff.

Being an instrument man I just noticed that a flatter set of numbers would appear with reduced resloution 🙂
