turning 22 Condor into a Pussy Cat, 7 foot pound’s of energy
Been playing some more ,had the condor turned up to 75 foot pounds this weekend with 32 g. euijins at 1000 fps, now i went the opposite direction , here is a shot string for ya , bout fell asleep trying to finish this one.
It was terrible windy so the groups are not that great. 36 yard instead of 50, way to windy for 50.
Filled to 2000,Pw 3 ,

1300 left.
used a lot of different pellets, all lighter stuff, gamo match, rws match ,gamo hunter, cabela’s h.p. jsb 14g., 15.9 , crossman Premier,
here is one target with most of the different pelllets to get an idea how they like the 500’s
i didn’t really try for the best groups because the wind was bad and i was trying to see what the string would look like with the gun set up like this.

I will sure tell ya one thing the wad cutters do not like the wind at all.the round nose pellets are not near as bad in the wind.
Here is one 5 shot group with the meisterkugeln when the wind let up a bit. 36 yard

The rws Meisterkugeln will shoot one hole at 25 ,30 yards at 750 to 800 fps.if the wind was not tering them up, 22 pellets at 550fps gives the wind allot of time to work on them i guess.the gamo match will also do better than this at higher velocity and no wind.
179 shots, 700 psi.used
Condor valve ,
Probly left something out , i wil put it in later,
Who says you cant turn a condor down and get some shots 😉

In the United States, the American Airgun Field Target Association (AAFTA) rules set a maximum rifle power of 20 ft·lbf (27 J) primarily to limit damage to targets — there are no rules for airgun power in the United States. Individual competition rules may impose limits on power and/or other criteria at the discretion of the local match director. The increased velocity of the pellets from these higher power rifles primarily reduces the effects of distance (pellet drop) and windage (time of flight determines wind effects) but the game is, otherwise, quite similar to that of Britain and other countries. There are no rules in the US as to the minimum or maximum kill zone diameter and targets as small as 0.250 inches (6.35 mm) are occasionally found in matches. The maximum kill zone diameter is typically 2 inches (5.08 cm) but may be considerably larger in rare instances. The ranges of the targets must be between 10 yards (9.1 m) and 55 yards (50.3 m), and they are arranged in lanes of 1 to 3 targets. Kneeling and standing shots are also the norm at every match but not as large a

looks like this would be fun, targets as small as .25″ , WOW! that would make you sweat 🙁
a 14 grain pellet at 800fps is 19.9 foot pounds . so i will do some adjusting. Flattest trajectory seems to be most important.
Also shooting up to 55 yards would mean using round nose pellets , so i will play with them.
