Q:

Vector Apophis 1-6X28 FFP Mrad reticle for Leshiy

Finding a Leshiy scope has proven to be a challenge. I just purchase the Mrad version of the Vector Apophis 1-6X28 FFP. The turrets marked in MOA, and the reticle values are in MRAD (not my favorite set up) The click values are 1/2 MOA (also not my favorite). The turrets are crisp and positive, seem to track well and the have a 200 MOA potential. The glass is clear, and the reticle seems useful. I emailed Igor from Strelok to make sure he included this reticle in his program. The scope is substantial; it feels pretty beefy for such a little scope. Until Ed offers the Leshiy scope, this model may hold us over. The Russian version is not easy to find.

Hey guys, first post here. Just received my Vector scope awaiting to be fastened to my Leshiy from KS. The rings are the cumbersome type, not sure I am liking them? What other option are there? Thanks

I bought a set of these

I guess if I kept the rings, I could mount a camcorder to the top, a flashlight to the right, and a red dot to the left. I really do like the scope, just not sure about those bulky rings. Thanks for the info{KS & WNZ}.

Well in the cheap range there is the bug buster super expensive there is the March. In between the SWFA 1-4X Medium price SWFA 1-6X The Vortex Razor 1-6X.

Thanks for the photos. It is a good little scope.

Some quick low light testing, nothing Scientific. Just a few pics at various magnification ranges.

I have only looked through it once or twice in poor light since I got it a couple hours ago but from what I could see it seems like it is suffering a bit from the old parallax error. But very Bright and VERY heavy. So nothing for the one who wants a light scope.

That Vector looks really promissing 🙂

Next to the SWFA 12×42

Im pretty sure mine will very rarely be dialed off 6X.
If someone made a quality fixed 6X in this compact size I would have purchased it.

Thanks!

Apparently there was a budget but true 1x scope around a few years ago but I couldn’t get one at that time and meanwhile it has been discontinued :angrymob:

Hey Pippo, no probs,

Using my naked eye (“a highly calibrated sniper optical device” 😉 ) comparing a bucket at 20y by looking through the scope then to the side of the scope my scope set on 1X actually makes it smaller, its true 1X is at about 1.1X (see pic).
My scope also over rotates a little past the 1X marking lets say -0.9X which made the bucket appear to be about 85-90% of the real size.
One other thing I forgot to mention in the review is that the turrets can be set to zero but loosening the 3 little grub screws at the ends of the turrets. I have not yet tested its tracking accuracy on paper yet either but if its anything like my other Tac-Vec scopes it will be very good.

Here’s a real quick review, a close up look at it/through it and my general thoughts on this little scope.

Hi Wingmaster,

thanks for the review.

May I ask you how close it is to a real 1x ?
