Vector Apophis 1-6X28 FFP Mrad reticle for Leshiy
Finding a Leshiy scope has proven to be a challenge. I just purchase the Mrad version of the Vector Apophis 1-6X28 FFP. The turrets marked in MOA, and the reticle values are in MRAD (not my favorite set up) The click values are 1/2 MOA (also not my favorite). The turrets are crisp and positive, seem to track well and the have a 200 MOA potential. The glass is clear, and the reticle seems useful. I emailed Igor from Strelok to make sure he included this reticle in his program. The scope is substantial; it feels pretty beefy for such a little scope. Until Ed offers the Leshiy scope, this model may hold us over. The Russian version is not easy to find.

Here’s a real quick review, a close up look at it/through it and my general thoughts on this little scope.

Which means the parallax effect can get you from -1/4 to +1/4 of an inch off target at the parallax distance (100m in 95% of cases, and this scope is such a case certainly). That means that if you don’t take care and move your head around too much your group can open up by additional half inch. In worst case. And such a value is a standard for budget scopes (below AT LEAST 1k$).
One more important note – consistent cheekweld can easily reduce this to zero. Practice is a key 🙂

Yeah Bud, I certainly under stand that. I was just looking at the description of the scope listing and it said “Parallax +/- 0.25”. I was unclear as to what that meant. Do you think they are saying that the parallax is set to 25 yards? I’ve seen this on a few listings. Here is one of them.

The one I bought showed today, not the MP Reticle as advertised. Had the M4 62 reticle.
Sent mine back for a exchange. Was reading up on the m4 62 reticle, seems that their using it without permission from the designer.
Lars that one posted by Charlie is that same as the one I bought.
do all these optics have that reticle posted by Keyser??

Nice! Thanks for that review man. I also had a scope that struggled with scope cam for some reason, but I really like the look of it and have one coming in the mail. The negative is of course it’s massive weight but what can you expect from a chinese scope in this price range.
