Now Ed, you know why we need more power…you can’t drop one of these heavy “Flesh Tanks” with a .17 caliber! It takes a 30+ FPE shot through the eye or nostrils to drop one of these hairy mammoths in her tracks. Our safety and lives are in your hands!
Once one of these monsters gets your scent, she is likely to charge. Your only hope is to run, and hope they Jack-Knife, and roll over on their backs, where they cannot recover their footing.
Their flesh is not fit for consumption. As many as ten Billion flies are attracted to the carcass, making life impossible for nearby edible farm beasts to survive. All life within 100 miles is endangered by starvation! There are rumors that ISIS terriorists are breeding a herd of these “Hogs of War“, since they don’t have nuclear power yet.
Our survival lies in your hands! Our government is helpless to intervene, due to Liberal Party “Political Correctness Laws” which protect these mega-grazers!!!
Do not delay your shipments to the endangered citizens of our peaceful air gun community!!!!
Kindest regards,
Uncle Hoot:
can any accommodation be made for the US moderator issues? Several of us are on the fence with our orders.
Thanks,
Ben
Right on Ben! It is a tremendous help to the U.S. buyers if the shroud end is threaded, so we can adjust the sound levels to our personal needs. We have local talent who make a decent attachment to screw on.
An over-sized, concentric shroud is a great start in keeping length and sound to a minimum. Sadly, some of us live next door to unfriendly, ill-mannered, nasty, smelly, fat, butt-ugly, old Bitches who live for no other reason than to make everyone near as miserable as possible. All we can do is try to get our Leyla’s sound down as low as possible, so the mean Bitch next door can’t hear what we are doing. Other than pray for a slow and painful death for such individuals…we rely on you, Ed, for answers.
Ed, you just know some maniac out there is going to put a .30 caliber barrel on that Leyla! Drill out some transfer ports, a few minor adjustments to the regulator, a few extra pounds of hammer spring impact…perhaps just a peek at the valve adjustments. (Time for my medications again. I’m starting to sweat just thinking about it)
I sent Tony my money, and I’ll be very happy to report back to the ignorant masses on the looks and performance of the .25 caliber Leyla.
Sigh…… :horse: We can only hope. Comrade Putin should have such power as Ed on world affairs…but Putin pretends, whereas Ed actually takes action, and makes impossible things happen. It’s rumored Putin has a large picture of Ed above his bed…not confirmed, but entirely plausible!

My dear ‘Pecker…..
Why would I want to purchase, on-line, an expensive pair of Peruvian sandals? So they are lined with Lama fur…so what? $250, if you include the broad brimmed hat!!! $500 if you include the genuine Lama-lined poncho. Your weasel-like mind has apparently de-railed!
You are one strange individual.
Kind regards,

Uncle hooter,
You will need something to occupy yourself with as we wait for our lelyas! Yacoff and reeferod are on there honeymoon, and will not be here to amuse us for sometime.
I fear the boredom may affect your judgement, and you might attempt to relive you adventures as a youth. Especially your trans-virginal days that transpired into the great whale gigging of the late 1800’s

I’m also thinking about ordering a 30 cal. standard. So guys with the 30’s, what do you think?
Could Ed just epoxy or loctite it and call it permanent? That seems to be the way Daystate gets around it.
I really really want a Veles but no LDC is a deal breaker. Morana is starting to look better now.
dup.
OK now I get it 💡 that would be great but I believe Ed has already started the production. Something for Ed to consider for the next generation of Veles… Unfortunately I’m not a very patient man and the Veles don’t come up for sale here in the U.S very often so I think I’m going to jump.
Correct but im sure if it was a factor in the loss of sales Ed will modify this part to a legal requirement for thee USA imports.
I see loads of plastic and alloy “airsoft” suppressors for sale on Ebay which sport 14mm L/H threads that seems to make them exempt?
The current stepped barrel nut tensioning the barrel and retaining the alloy frame could easily be changed to something else such as a 1/2″x20
Re read as I tweaked my words to better describe,
I am saying the moderator could be made like an R3 and useless for other guns unless mated to the Veles via the internal threads of the outer tube of the moderator to attach it. Maybe…
I guess what I am arriving at is just make it like R3 and offer a tensioning nut and thread protector for non mod. Use.
Not sure but I’m thinking that the Veles comes with the end of the barrel threaded regardless of purchasing it with or without the LDC. Wingman?
.
Good idea I think !!!
Ed, Veles Moderator
I think if Ed could machine the large male threads for the rear of the moderator tube attachment ” like the R3″ into the front nut on the barrel and the female threads into the rear of the tube ” like R3″ of the Veles moderator and then screw the moderator onto it ” like R3 ” than there could be no issue with it being used for a silencer in the states with it attached to a different firearm. This system would be more legitimate than any of the Cricket moderators. We would then only need to add a small cap to thread over the exposed threads when the moderator is not installed like a lot of other guns. The male threads are no issue here and available on lots of guns for use with registered silencers.
This could work well if Ed will consider a slight change to the attachment.

Ed
Distributing the Veles without the OEM moderator is a game changer. I have been considering the Veles for a long time. I felt that it had a place beside my .30 Long, .25 Long R3M, .22 Long R3M and .22 standard R2.5. It clearly stated above the configuration. Ed, Tony please respond to this concern and make it clear what can or can not be imported and if there is any difference in price between moderated and un-moderated versions.
