I gather there are no MV limits in the USA. In Japan, where I do most of my shooting and a whole bunch of skirmishing, no limits. Iceland, nada. Most of europe, couldn’t give a toss.

What happened in the UK is exactly what America’s forefathers wanted to eliminate from ever having the chance to occur to its citizens who are born free. It came from their experience going through their struggle with tyrany so that there is no chance for a government to take away the ultimate means for its people to preserve their freedom.
The UK already have “concealed carry”, just not by their law abiding citizens (correction : subjects)

The UK population has no inherent concept of rights and freedoms, it thinks everything is a privilage bestowed by the crown and/or govt. Truly a population of spineless cattle.
During WWII, Thousands of guns were donated to the Brits. Where did they come from and why?
They came from donations from free American Citizens. They sent their personal rifles and shot guns “Over There” by the thousands.
Why did they send them. The Brits were facing the threat of invasion by the German Army.
Why did they need them? Because the British Citizenry had already had most of they’re guns confiscated years earlier. Leaving the good folks in the country side totally un-protected.
It was a grand and unselfish act by the good people or the US.
What did the British government do with all the guns after WWII? Returned them to the good folks in the US of course!

I must have missed it in all those stats that were posted. Which countries have more acts of terrorism? It would have to be the US right? After all, we have pretty much open borders and anyone here can get a gun be it legal or illegal. Hell, you can buy high explosives in most states with nothing more than a drivers license. Right now I can buy high explosives and have them sent to my door with nothing more than a credit card.
Im talking about in country terrorist attacks not stuff done on our embassy’s or US citizens abroad.
I pretty much already know the answer to my question. You dont see much repeat terrorism here in the US. If you pull the lions tail your going to get your ass chewed. You blow something up here and every US citizen, whether criminal or law abiding citizen is “UP IN ARMS” just itching to put down some inhuman filth.
Here in the USA I can legally own a gun, a machine gun, high explosives, hand grenades, a tank, a plane or helicopter with live machine guns (Im not sure about missiles) and just about any other weapon of minor destruction. The only limiting factor being my wallet. God Bless America.
Which reminds me. If you will take the time to look at the FBI stats, 4 out of 5 gun crimes happen in States where the Citizens are not allowed to carry a firearm for protection.

I’ve got news for you fella. The Vast majority (just about all)of gun crimes are committed by people WITHOUT the legal right to own or possess a firearm or air gun for that matter!

Yes a man in Houston Texas shot and killed two men caught in the act of robbing his neighbors home. When he confronted them, they Refused to desist, and advanced on the Man. It was his right and duty as a free citizen to protect himself and or others. . Thats the law. Damed right!
I have a CHL. Concealed Handgun License. In order to have it, I had to go through a FBI background check. Local Police Check. Texas DPS Check and alcohol. Tobacco and Firearms check. (ATF). A cop only has to normally go through the FBI check.
My record Had to be clean, clean, clean, No arrest, (guilty or not). No back taxes owed. No Back child payment, No convictions of a felony ever! This goes for all Texas CHL holders.
A class in firearms law must be taken, which includes dispute resolution. (With a lot of attention put on calming down a bad situation before violence occurs.) a Along with Gun handling safety. Competency must be shown with the type of firearm to be carried. (Revolver,Auto).
I had to go through more background checks than someone joining the military, Law enforcement, or school teacher.
We do not take this right lightly.
I lost friends in the Lubys Massacre in Killeen Texas. A Criminal, who “WAS NOT” allowed to own a gun by law drove a truck through the wall of the restaurant and shot and killed 23 people!
How did he get away with it? At the time, Texans, just like the Jolly olé UK, weren’t allowed by the Government to carry anything to protect themselves. They were required by law to huddle together and be killed one by one like sheep at the slaughter. I was out side the Resturant, hearing the shots being fired. I stood there un-armed, adn helpless. Knowing that friends and neighbors were being killed and wounded. It was the most helpless feeling I have ever experienced. ( Many of the survivors stated the same feelings). I decide then and there that I would never be a sheeple again. NEVER. No one should ever have choose to be a victim, just to please the Liberals!
Our State Representative lost both her Mother and Father in the shooting. She had a handgun in her car, where it was useless.
She led the campaign here in Texas to give Texans back our right to live like human beings. Not sheep, waiting for the gangsters, drug pushers, thugs, murder’s , and yes, possibly our own government to kill us when ever the mood strikes. And before you say I’m crazy, let me point out that Governments have been killing their citizens for centuries. Russia, Germany, Spain, Italy, and yes even Yours. I have had the misfortune to have to use deadly force. I was the victim of a Car-jacking, and kidnapping. Thank God I live in Texas where I was allowed to live, even though a Criminal had decided It was time for me to die.
Here in the USA both friends and strangers were concerned. Local Law Enforcement kept check on me for a while. We built life long friendship’s. It was truly heart warning.
In The UK, if this happened to you, and you were lucky enough to survive, you would spend many years in the Queen’s prison.

It’s not bollocks at all. And our govt, it seems to have forgotten it’s our servant, not our master. Makes the laws? You call them laws? Most of us call it nazi oppression, where every single minute facet of our daily lives is ruled and regulated to the nth degree. Including the right to fucking well protect ourselves. 👿
