Wobbly shroud = pellet clipping

I have battle some inconsistent POI with my Cricket .25, I think I found the culprit.
Question is; Do anyone have an good idea how to fix it?

Actually, the Arkansanian condoms come with a ten foot 110 volt electric cord, and are reusable! The most common cause of death in Arkansas is electrocution, when young men forget to unplug them when they rinse them out!!! The newer ones come with a built-in GFI breaker, like the hair dryers.

Isn’t Donny’s “shroud” just something to draw over the OEM shroud ? Almost like those Arkansanian condoms they advertise on the local Radio there ??

I had clipping problem too. I sent moderator where I but the cricket and they sent moderator to kalibrgun factory. After 3 weeks I got brand new moderator – this one is good.
There’s no wire in the Cricket shroud. Not in the OEM anyway, oh ignorant Uncle. You are correct regarding that.
The simplest fixes are often the best!
I admit ignorance in not knowing the Cricket used wire in its baffle system. I’ve used wrapped wire in testing different baffles in the Mrod, and indeed eventually had the same problem over time. A body learns something new here every day.

I had the .22 clipping the shroud I bought, I ran a round wood rod down the shroud and smashed all the wires back in place,
Works great now, Contacted the seller and he said he could send me a new one but I fixed this one, No down time..
Just a few loose wires the pellet was hitting. all’s good.

No…accuracy would not be affected unless physical contact was made with the baffles. The pellet, like a firearm projectile, exits the muzzle ahead of the air blast from the air cylinder. The only air proceeding it would be the air in the barrel in front of the pellet, and even that air is dispersed by the shroud and baffles. At velocities of 880 fps, the exposure of the pellet to air turbulence from the shroud muzzle, and baffles, would be measured in a very very few thousandths of a second.
It’s got to be a deformed pellet, or physical contact, from what we know at this point.

I have tested if the pellets exit the silencer ideally contrentic. It appears that they exit the silencer not ideally concentric, however there is no clipping of them. I can see that from one side they are about 0.1 – 0.2 mm closer to the edge but still – no clipping. Do you think it can affect accuracy?

Yep! Desperate situation requires desperate measures. Check with Hannu first. He may very well give you the permission since you´ve already Video´d the problem. That way you can drill the bugger and shoot it while you wait the replacement to arrive.
As sir Ville says your warranty will probably be gone but if you’re desperate it will work
