Wobbly shroud = pellet clipping

I have battle some inconsistent POI with my Cricket .25, I think I found the culprit.
Question is; Do anyone have an good idea how to fix it?

i had the same problem with my .177 i was advised to re-drill the silencer hole with a 7mm i think, youll need a bigger drill bit .
it worked but i ended up getting another silencer

Generally those holes are only off a few thousandths of an inch. If you have a needle file, say 12″ long and 1/4″ in diameter (small for .117), the baffles only go from the front down to about six or so inches. you can carefully ream out the baffle holes and resolve the problem without causing an increase in noise from the shroud.
It’s important to remember that it only takes a very little, very fine amount of filing with the proper sized needle file to get the job done.

I will contact the dealer, too bad it will take time, summer will be over before I get an replacement I guess, I had hope for a quick fix in some way.
Hard to see if it touches but I can move the POI 8 inches just by turning the shroud a little, tweaking it a bit I can sometimes get good groups for a while, so my guess is yes.
You need to contact the seller for a replacement, there were a few bad shrouds on the early .22s. This is the first I’ve seen with a .25, do the internals have contact damage on their bores?

Hannu will fix you a new one. Or, as i said earlier , you can borrow my STD shroud shortly. If you drill your shroud i don´t think it will be ok regarding the warranty.
And – this is not the first .25 shroud with faulty threading since my .25 WB also had that issue. It´s a warranty item though so no sweat. :fishinghole:
