Yote hunting with Talon?
I don’t know why..But I wanna go Yote hunting. My uncle has a skin on his wall, I want one too!
I could use the 22-250, or a shotgun, or a 243, but it just would not be fun.
For me it is not simply about killing the critter. Its about making that perfect shot at 50 yards between the eye and ear. Thats my thing and whats what I wanna do.
Does a Talon shooting at mid 30’s fp..have enough power?

I wish you had told me it was 310! I got so pissed off at not being able to get better than 1/12 MOA at 300 that I threw that POS away. I should have waited a couple minutes as right after I tossed that crap gun, I was sloppy with the slingshot and I had to beat the grizzly to death with my dick. Didn’t want to do it that way, but it was the only available gun of sufficient caliber….

got to say, YOU DA MAN!!! it all comes down to horses for courses. airguns are great BUT YOU HAVE TO RECOGNIZE THEIR LIMITATIONS. as i said earlier, just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you SHOULD something. gotta love the idea of catching a coyote in a crossfire and synchronizing the shots. i suppose if the coyote was deaf, dumb and blind, you could sit 25-30 yards across from each other and do a 3 second countdown but just doesn’t sound too feasible. of course it might put the geniuses trying it in the running for a Darwin award.

I used to hunt bear with a wrist rocket but that became no fun. Now I just chase a wild horse until it dies of exhuastion and then carry it into the hills to bait for the bear. I use a simple slingshot made out of a twig and a rubber band to carefully place my shot. If the first shot isn’t perfect I just pistol whip the damn thing with the 2240 I carry for 300 yard plinking sessions.
let the yote eat the cat then shoot the thing with a red ryder BTW i hunt all my game with airguns
