Redneck Crazy

Hey guys

All my accessories are arriving and still no toy to put them on. One special toy is the Delta Titanium 4.5-30x-50. Special thanks to Sir Ville and George in Sweden for making that happen. $138 customs broker fees by the way….total price now $1050.00….but oh well. Any hoot….I’m going nuts over here!! Come on Tony, where’s my email? Wingman has flooded our channel with oobs of quality pics. We have new bobcats, new CF parts for roaches, talks of Belugas, fixes, and what not. And here I am with no gun and a big ol box of accessories. (That did not sound quite right).

I decided to get away to help the time go by. Look for me at the WSOP fellas. I’m leaving tomorrow for a week. Which one of my brothers plays poker? Tell me about yourselves. Uncle hoot….I know you gotta play some poker…and knife maker, you too. Brother Hemm, I bet you play flush (three card poker). Talk to me my brothers.

So – now i bought me a pedigree BR scope too .. πŸ™„
George at Astro Sweden is a dangerous guy to talk to since it often results in lighter wallet. I bought an IOR BR/Competition 36×42 with 30mm tube, SF and whatnot since he offered it for a price an idiot wouldΒ΄ve said no to. ItΒ΄s supposed to be a superb scope for longer range BR judging by the reviews and tests so i hope itΒ΄s like everything else George has recommended – sovereign …
I like the reticle since itΒ΄s not your regular BR reticle (1/8 dot, fine hair) but more like a 1/2 Mil-Dot, or extended 1/2 MD, or so.
Aptly named “MP-8 Dot”… πŸ˜€

Here in Sweden we use Snus/Snuff for most gluing, filling and also polishing chores while in a pinch. I prefer mine with that extra strong tobacco taste but sometimes wintergreen flavour does it too.

Sent from a Tab my wife lured me to buy … If your Aunt has a pair of hairy balls does that make “her” your Uncle ?

It does look purdy and light. A good gob of JB Weld will do the trick. πŸ˜€

Not bad! And yes, the Delta SF knob isnΒ΄t as far protruding as many others are. How does the wheel lock into place ? With a little grub screw ?? Or is it a press-fit ?? Lots of permanent Locktite ?? Soldering ?? Chewing Gum ??

IΒ΄ll take mine black anodized, silvous plait. The plain alum. is too much if the scope itself isnΒ΄t silver – and the rifle stainless with a black stock. Black it is for Ville i Am !

Trident sugar free is optional, but I think there are 2 spots on the hub that have little recessed hex screws. We can get this in polished aluminum or black anodized. I’m still up in the air on that.

Here is a preliminary drawing for the 90mm side wheel. This is for a smaller side focus knob. The Delta’s knob is rather large. Also, the hub will have to be extended for the Delta to allow for clearance of the stock. Final drawing still to come.

Dear Brother Dr. Steele;

Yes, i agree with you, my R3M stands for , R= Rounds of a year , 3= 3 years you need to get one, M= money that i spent for one ($2,550),

So, i will leave the answer for you guys about the R9.5M , sine i have explained the formula above you should be knowing the answer. ❗ ❗ ❓ ❓ πŸ’‘ πŸ’‘ πŸ’‘ πŸ’‘ πŸ’‘ πŸ’‘

Dear brother Hemm

I am very concerned for you my brother. Just think, if it took you over 1 year to get your last Edgun, how long do you think it will take for you to get this new R9.5? What do you think Ville, shall we start a poll?

I know what the winner gets – A lap dance performed by Old Goats “pet” Goat , Betsy , wearing Klaw-KalashΒ΄s over every Hoof.

If he can make one for my Delta in 50mm/2″ you can sign me in for one. If that 90mm is the only choice i need to see how it looks before i get one. Post the CAD pics once you get them.

For those that are interested….
I’ve talked to Eric Sanders at Compufoil. They make custom CNC machined side wheels for scopes. He is going to make me a 90mm side wheel for my Delta Scope. I have to send a number of photos and measurements and he will be designing a side wheel under 50 grams for it. He’s going to email me a CAD rendering of it when it’s ready. He has made his own software that can print out a tape that has your own custom calibrated markings for the wheel too. I’m estimating the cost to be $120. But, if others are interested I’m thinking we may be able to get it for less. The wheel would be the same, but the hub can be different to accomodate different scopes. Anyone interested? Or have any other suggestions?

I just found out why our dearest Uncle has not been around. My sources tell me he was spotted in Europe. Apparently he has been on a humanitarian mission on behalf of all of us here in the US. They captured this picture of him in Helsinki:

I spoke to our Uncle when he got back to the airport. He told me that our shipment will be on its way tomorrow and that he has everything under control. I was excited and shocked all at once….because I did not know Uncle Hoot owned a suit. 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯
None the less, we owe him our thanks.

Don’t they hold the annual “Beer Float” there? I think enough beer and they’ll do anything.

Customs, customs and more customs. I was going to say after Christmas but did want to open my big mouth. Sometimes US Customs like to sit on it for many weeks at a time before they release anything. It is holiday season around the corner and US Customs are short staffed, anything can happen. I am just hoping for a safe release so the Edguns can be united with their rightful owners.
