Q:

Best value Leshiy scopes?

Could we make a top 3 or top 5 list of the most suitable and best “bang for your Buck” scopes to put on a Leshiy? It seems you are able to buy it now so surely the people who do must have ideas on scopes?

My priorities would be:
1. Weight
2. Turrets
3. Glass
4. Reticle

Turrets must be Good because switching caliber will mean dialing them turrets. Weight is obvious. Good glass is always nice and a reticle suitable for a airgun. Also not everyone can afford a March 1-10 😉

At x7 and it’s an amazing reticle. Etched and very thin. I am very impressed.

What are your thoughts? At what magnification is the reticle true?

Scope arrived today

Just ordered this one earlier today in preparation for Leshiy.

I think it will be great based on some reviews and etched reticle.

15 grain JSB. 790 fps. 20 shots from 250 – 110 bar.

+1 for the Hawke Airmax 2-7×32

I was shooting turtles yesterday, and scored 3/3 headshots at 70 yards!! Great scope. The ultra thin reticle is so good.

This scope combined with .22 Leshiy is a very good tool. I have not missed a single squirrel in the last two weeks.

[emoji1360] what pellets and speed are u using to get this accuracy? What about the shotcount with these settings?

Cheers

Lol, Piter, all these scopes and you could have probably afforded a March soon 😛

I concur! Sell one of your bags and you can probably get a March as well.

Haha… but in reality – not even close!

BTW, it’s hard time for me now. Can’t even think of shooting my Leshiy, last night there was -28 deg in my place, today -14 during the day. Shooting anything other than scotch is not an option now

Looks good! Maybe I’ll give it a try? 🙂

Super cool.

I’m probably going to get the xb30 Sr pro from Hawked crossbow range was just waiting go get Christmas out the way.

I like the shape more to suit Leshiy otherwise I would of got the same scope as you as the price is a nice difference.

Keep us posted on how you like it.

quote PiterM:

That should be very usable scope on Leshiy, it was on my short list as well. Actually… it still is 🙂

If anyone convinces STRELOK guys to include that reticle in APP it’d be most awesome!

For hunting , 20-50Y…you dont really need Strelok. A bit of hold will do it.

Here are Hawke’s X-act software points of aim when zeroed at 30Y shooting jsb18gr@800fps. 50Y is exactly between the first 2 crosses (tested).
