well just stripped a little screw from bnm in the breech and broke my hex wrench for that screw. I now have to wait to hear from BNM to see if I can get more screws and another hex wrench. I also have to figure out how to get the old screw out of the breech. This will probably take a couple weeks now 👿

is there something that screws into the valve in the middle there? That ends up being in the middle of the trigger grip frame and i cant figure out what would screw up in there?

Yeah I got whole gun. I called Crosman and after listing some parts to the lady and getting prices, I figured I was better off just buying the gun.

I was thinking of doing that too, I noticed how easily they come lose.

I just ordered the Hipac and two extensions, not sure if Ill use them or not. What are your thoughts on a valve? I read if you stick with a factory valve your limited to 1800psi where you could go to 3k with aftermarket valve? Is a modded valve worth it? I know you said your back to the factory one after your power valve started leaking.

I’m still using the factory valve, plus I ordered 2 stainless valves back on Halloween when they were offered. i’m still filling mine to 2200psi with no problems. Holds air as good as my p- rod. Heck might as well use the factory valve. You bought a whole 2240 right?

On the stock adapter on my crosman 22xx &13xx tubes. I drilled and tapped 8×32 holes and added button head screws 3/8″ long on each side. Since adding these screws the stock adapter on both my carbines haven’t came loose.

Ok so I have a 2240 on the way and a 2250 barrel band. Now if I get the 2240 hipac it should all work together? I do not have the stock adapter yet. Also are the hipac extensions required if you have a longer barrel and shroud?

No you don’t have to buy extensions if you have a longer barrel and shroud. I bought a couple to increase my shot count. Plus the added length on the hipac helps with the look of the air gun.

the 2240 hipac is on back order, do you know if I can use the 2250? would I need to do anything different if I do?

Yes the guy also sells hipac for 2250.

I just got my 2400 with a hipac a couple of weeks ago, but man, it is wicked! Shoots strait through the collared doves around the house and does not hesitate to rip the exit wing off, if it hits the shoulder just right. Try the hipac setup, if you don’t like it, I might be interested in buying another(but I’m doubtful that you won’t like it :biggrinn:)

Are you using any modded internals and what’s shot count like with that tube? I was wondering if I should go bigger since when the shroud is on its long anyways?

My 1st power valve was a modded it lasted a couple months then started leaking. I’m back with a regular valve now. I get 20 power shots. When I had the .25 stuff on this tube with the hipac 2240 x1 extension. I was getting 16 power shots

You should be able to use the trigger assembly on 2240/2300/2250 tubes. Probably the easiest way is buy a 2240, and order what ever hipac stuff and pick up a 2250 barrel band from bnm. Or call crosman and order all the parts for a complete 2240 tube might be cheaper than buying a whole gun. For the stock adapter search eBay 2240 stock adapter you can get one with power adjuster like mine.

Assman83 the only thing i know for sure you can’t use on a 2240 swap is the stock adapter hammer and barrel band. The 2240 tube has a bigger diameter. Personally I like the short 2240,2300 tube to stick the hipac in. From what I’ve found out if you want to use the breech on a discovery tube you would need to remove the set screw out the breech just under the bolt where the mag fits. I have the same exact breech and in order it fit it on the new SS 2250 pcp tube I bought I had to counter sink that hole for the little Allen screw head to be flat so the mag fit. I’d show a pix but my tube and breech are at Don’s machine shop. He’s making tranfer port sleeves for my breech and tube. The pcp tubes have a 3/8 hole for the 5/16 hole in his power house valve. I did air up the tube and shot 5 shots on a 2000psi fill. The first shot out went supersonic blowed a hole through a 2×4 I was shooting at sounded like my 22mag pistol scared the crap out of me was not expecting to be that loud even with a shroud on the barrel lol. Whe I get it back I’ll get pixs to show.

This pumper is frustrating, all the pumping makes the gun come lose and I have to start over every time I use the gun.

So to get to hipac I need a 2240 tube, hi pac kit, barrel band, and stock adapter? Is there new internals I need to get? Do you know if i can use my grip frame?

thanks for the help
