1377 upgrades?
I just bought 1377 and was wondering where the best place to get upgrades is? Ill probably replace everything I can and most likely will go up in caliber.

Assman83 the only thing i know for sure you can’t use on a 2240 swap is the stock adapter hammer and barrel band.The 2240 tube has a bigger diameter. Personally I like the short 2240,2300 tube to stick the hipac in. From what I’ve found out if you want to use the breech on a discovery tube you would need to remove the set screw out the breech just under the bolt where the mag fits. I have the same exact breech and in order it fit it on the new SS 2250 pcp tube I bought I had to counter sink that hole for the little Allen screw head to be flat so the mag fit. I’d show a pix but my tube and breech are at Don’s machine shop. He’s making tranfer port sleeves for my breech and tube. The pcp tubes have a 3/8 hole for the 5/16 hole in his power house valve. I did air up the tube and shot 5 shots on a 2000psi fill. The first shot out went supersonic blowed a hole through a 2×4 I was shooting at sounded like my 22mag pistol scared the crap out of me was not expecting to be that loud even with a shroud on the barrel lol. Whe I get it back I’ll get pixs to show.
Yeah, sorry. I’m still not sure what parts are what when switching between the crossmans.
How would you convert a 1325 to hpa? Are you talking about moving the action onto a 2240 base and adding a hipac? 😕
yeah thats 15 pumps. I may convert it down the road to HPA. Right now for what I have into it I better use as is for awhile.
Is that 15 pumps? Sounds like you’re getting things worked out. I just got to damn tired of pumping, seems to take a lot of energy for the .25.
I have put it all together again, after some screws came lose. It seem like the screws that were sent out with the new grip frame were too short and one stripped a little. I replaced it with the factory one and put blue loctite on all of screws them. I hope that will be enough.
I was shooting in the 520’s today with the FTT’s and I will call that good enough for now.
I turned out the piston a little more and now its good and tight against the valve. That got me up to 497 fps. I am going to look over the the transfer port again and make sure thats all good.

Dang mine lines up good to go on the backpacker pump tube. You could put the breech on a discovery tube and internals and have the power of a discovery. You could go hipac with a 2240 tube and valve, hammer and spring, the barrel and breech will fit. That’s enough power to kill squirrels, starlings and sparrows.
Sorry I meant 15 pumps, Roy advised not pumping beyond that. Is the sleeve the little bushing? It fit ok, the holes from the pump tube and breech were not perfectly inline, but there is nothing I can do about that, that’s just how they end up when put together.

What kind of speed are you getting from your 1325? I’m only getting about 460fps with the ftt in a 14” barrel at 25 pumps. That seems to be low from what Ive read on other forums.

So Assman83 I didn’t have a crony. 460 from 25 pumps sounds about right. I was having to pump 30 to get any penetration on a 1″x4″ @ 50ft. Plus I went to H&N FTT 19.91 that speeded it up some. How was fit for the transfer port sleeve to the breech? I scraped the idea of a 25cal pumper. Swapping my 25cal stuff over to a SS 2250 pcp tube.

Not a whole of playing with it yet. I did get few shots with the jsb’s I had and got around 440fps. I am waiting for some lighter pellets that Roy recommended for this barrel and setup.
I also need to bore out the centering ring
For my dlc to work with this barrel.
I’m hoping to get my scope and pellets
by the weekend so I can do a little more testing.
Have you tried the new setup yet? I’m quite interested in the 1325 version I have been concocting in my head. And it looks like this conversation has taught me a lot.
The bug buster cones with medium mounts, will that clear the magazine?
I though about heavier spring, but wasn’t sure if Roy’s valve would require one? He said he never uses them just a spring guide.
Sergio a pretty good guy and always does his best to keep things right with his customers.
My bug buster is a 6×32 and has the quick detachable rings i think there medium. And there’s about a1/8″ clearance on the magazine and front cone clears the breech about the same as the mag. Come to think of it I only use the prod spring when I have the breech and barrel mounted on the co2 tube.
