I bought a .25 Marauder from a wholesaler and it is due in Friday. Has anyone else received one yet?

Close, yet so far away!
I hear from Greg Davis, that jsb is going to make 25. Predator polly tip pellet. Do’nt know what grain though, I hope it will be 27- 30 gr.
Oh yea, that will make for a very dealy combo! 😯
Steve, can you tell me how long, from the back air tube to the front of the shroud is.
Thanks. 😀
If they are long, no. Wait till they get a .25 single shot tray out 😛
AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, the good news is that my .25 Marauder arrived today. The bad news is that the pellets were shipped separately and will arrive tomorrow 🙁 I have called several stores looking for .25 pellets, but noplace stocks .25 caliber pellets. An obvious pitfall. (My ship to address is 30 miles away, so I’ll just wait for tomorrow).
I ordered one when they originally said it wouild be available in March…. when they switched it to August I cancelled it. Now they actually have them I’m going to wait a few weeks before re-ordering seems my PS-22 is also now back ordered.
hmmmm, what about running ‘Jerry’s slugs’ through it, or will those slugs fit in the magazine?
Aahh chew!!!!
So it looks like 854FPS with 27.8gr pellet… Nothing to sneeze at there…
Y; I think that he wants to put the Cygnus X 1/2″ hole through them 😀
Ok, ok, ok……
I check in on the post on yellow, that Steve posted a link to.
Jim says the gun (out of box) is averaging about 45 fpe with the Benjamin pellets which are 27gr.
Nice, very nice! 😯
How big are your squirrels?
I want a .25 with a built in shroud for a backyard feeder gun! squirrels suck!
You are right Mam!…but, will the bolt handle fall off? Will the trigger break on the first shot? Will the pellets clip on the inside of the shroud? Perhaps there will be some new malady peculiar to the .25. Stay tuned sports fans…same pellet channel…same pellet time 😉
OK, actually I am hoping that Crosman has gotten their act together. However, I am mentally prepared for the disappointment of shoddy quality control. If the .25 blows chunks, I’ll switch to my BSA Sportsman HV that is powerful and accurate. It would be fun to make a .25 out of the Sportsman. Hmmm? I didn’t like the “micro movement cocking” action at first, but I have gotten used to it as the power and accuracy are very good. It is well finished and a pleasure to look at…always a plus 😀 With the advent of Gamo introducing the Dynamax in .22 cal, I am hoping for better availability of spare magazines at a better price.
I know, I high-jacked my own thread…sorry guys.
775FPS with 30gr will get you 40FPE…

Hi Guys, the good news is that I got my .25 Marauder and ammo home in one piece. The bad news is that the wholesaler that I bought from placed my 12 tins of pellets in a 12″X12″X12″ box with no packing 🙁 …so my 20 grain FTS are a little bent up, (crap!)
The gun is a nice looking gun, but it carries the odor of Harbor Freight…made, packed, and shipped from China. (Although Crosman says that “some parts” are made there…oh well). It’s a nice rifle so far.
The take up of the first stage is long, but the let off of the second stage is VERY good…I like it, (that’s out-of-the-box adjusted at the factory).
One must be careful not to double feed pellets. I caught myself and removed the magazine to prevent double feeding.
I gotta get my kid from school, but the 20gr FTS shot between 901-885 fps on a 3000 psi charge, which is what the gun is set for from the factory. The 30gr Kodiaks shot 765-756 fps with a 3000psi fill.
When I get back, I will mount a scope and see how accurate it is. 😀
