.25 Marauder
I bought a .25 Marauder from a wholesaler and it is due in Friday. Has anyone else received one yet?

A couple questions, for you guys how many shots are you getting on a fill.
And is the 25. as quite as the 177 or 22. m-rod? 🙄

Yeah how many shots per fill? with a reasonable spread.(30fps or so)
Well, I played with the settings today and got the 30gr Kodiaks up to 855fps with a 3/4″ group. The 20gr FTS were spitting out at 962fps, but they were not accurate.

Maw; I am shooting 70 feet, not yards. Sorry. But at least we know it is not clipping. The 20gr FTS are not shooting well at all. My Marauder doesn’t seem to like them at all.
It is shooting Kodiacs very well at 70 yards or you are one hell of a dead eye, congrats on the new rifle seems to be very good hunter.
Looks like the guns are making good power right out of the box, & with fine a power tune I ‘d bet they make more fpe.
Here is the fpe breake down with the pellets:
43 gr= 42 fpe
30 gr= 38 fpe
26gr= 39 fpe
20gr= 34-36 fpe
I had a Bsa lone star 25. with the hammer spring turn all the way in for max power. With 30gr pellets it made 42- 43 fpe.
I sold it, did not care of the way you had to cock & load the gun.
Every time, to shoot it.
So the m-rod 25. looks like it shoots good groups & will be in the same power class as the 25. lone star.
But with the multi shot & easy of the Crosman’s, to work on for tuners & modding.
I am going to get one also I’m sold! 😯
Well! Other than putting the Famous Depinger I saw on here in the Gun, I wouldn’t try to make it faster. The Air Force and all my other Guns including the Marauder shoot right on the edge of Precision accuracy. Maybe any faster and it will throw flyer’s and might kill out some accuracy.
At 10 yards there is no difference in the shot pattern of a 23 grain or a 43 grain pellet. Thats a Plus IMO.
However Like I said you all build em and I’ll shoot em . So far This is the thread for information, and lots of it. Thanks every one.

Here are the first shots with 20gr FTS pellets and a better group shot with 30gr Kodiaks. Bear in mind that I am a lousy shot, the 20gr pellet skirts were damaged in shipping, and there was a light crosswind. The wind had subsided when I shot the Kodiaks.
The holes with “S” next to them were the original sight-in shots.
CTC 0.435″…… .25 caliber 30gr Kodiak….8 shots
The gun is a nice looking gun, but it carries the odor of Harbor Freight…made, packed, and shipped from China. (Although Crosman says that “some parts” are made there…oh well). It’s a nice rifle so far.
The take up of the first stage is long, but the let off of the second stage is VERY good…I like it, (that’s out-of-the-box adjusted at the factory).
One must be careful not to double feed pellets. I caught myself and removed the magazine to prevent double feeding.
I gotta get my kid from school, but the 20gr FTS shot between 901-885 fps on a 3000 psi charge, which is what the gun is set for from the factory. The 30gr Kodiaks shot 765-756 fps with a 3000psi fill.
When I get back, I will mount a scope and see how accurate it is. 😀
Well I can tell ya that all the pre-arrival fear and anxiety should be gone
by now… Looks like this gun is going to be a keeper.. Shot strings,
groups, trigger sound, all sounds great and impressive…

Foxback; 30 1/4″ from muzzle to rear of air tube where the adjuster cap is.
Oh by the way, there is a definite tank ping. This gun will get a Mamcrackin depinger.
Do you have a chrograph, I’d love to see want the max fpe on this gun will be.

I got my Marauder today. 43.5 grain Eunjin pellets shoot at 667 FPS. And the 26.3 grain pellets shoot at 827 FPS. I shot the 30+ grain pellets too but didn’t have my chronograph in line.
This gun will shoot through a Lowe’s 2X4 at 10 yards.
It shoots faster than the 28 grains shot in a 22 Marauder.
This gun is not pellet picky, it will shoot the same group with all three pellet weights.
It;s definitely a keeper.
I kept the gun on at least 2000 pounds per clip, I started with 2500 PSI. Air is no problem to me I have the scuba tank and the high pressure Gasoline pump. SO I’m ready to shoot.
