Q:

50 metes target. CONDOR BIG PROBLEM

I really didn’t like these groups, i was shooting and i had around 4 TO 5 inches of distance between the rolls (10 shots only per fill), the Condor was setup at power level: 12 then 10 then 8 and the tank was filled at 2.500 psi at every power setting, i was using Beeman Kodiak 21.14 gr. also was no wind at roll was just a perfect day for target shooting. The problem its not really me because i have done much better groups then this one in different air rifles at 50 meters, Can anyone help me with this problem? Why is this gun giving very bad groups at this 50 metes distance? Wrong pellets? Wrong setup? Does the rifle has any internal problem? Do i have to change my pellets for Eujin 28 or 32 gr? Tell me a good setup for this gun using this pellet (beeman kod. 21.14gr…………….
Thanks in advance for all answers and i hope it can be fixed! Thanks again to all! AIRFORCE CONDOR .22 CAL

My Condor Has a stock 22 caliber barrel on it and no mods at all.
After reading this thread, I measured me off a 65 yard target.
I use a Lazier at 20 Yards and the scope from 25 and out.
At 60 Yards with the same setting 3 on the power level and 7 on the adjustment wheel, I call it 37 so I can remember it. I hit the Bottom of a soda pop can, “can laying down” consistent at 65 yards with Diablo Exacts.
I never tried any of the others I have because that seems good enough for me.
You could have the power setting too high. The condor shots that pellet at 1050 to 1150 depending on how much I have in the tank. In this test I had 2100 PSI.
My Condor is a dream. i have 3 barrels and a shroud for it, and all my other guns are shooting good at the distance I shoot normally, I never tried the Marauder at that range but I plan too later it has been windy here I done the shot mentioned on a calm day.
I think the problem is you need to start on the lowest setting and go up, you’ll do better that way. Speed isn’t the answer If your getting 900 or better quit pranking with it,. My guns came out of the box shooting fine and that’s the way I shoot them. Hope this helps. 😀

I had it fixed, take a look:

I have got very good results with that bullet. (weight approx 50 grains)
with .25 condor (power 94 ft-lbs)

3″ to 150 meters is possible! (with 10 bullets)

They use it too in their guns with good results:

A fully tuned TT Condor will do great with the 6 and 7 rings and will probably push the 9 rings pretty good too. I’ve talked to Tony about this and he’s not generally tuning the guns for the absolute highest power he could get out of them. There’s a balance he likes and it works well. That means you could probably dial the gun up a bit from hot to hotter but there are diminishing returns. The 9 rings will like the hottest setting of course as they are so heavy that they need lots of power to get them up to speed. The good news is that they hold that energy pretty good and hit about as hard as any .25 you’re going to find!

Right now, Timmy is casting an order of 200 6 rings and I’ll be mailing out an order of 100 tomorrow (and the 200 if they get through cleaning, sizing and packaging tonight). There’s no waiting list…now.

Thanks Jerry, but which one you suggest for a .25 TT Condor fully fully fully tuned?

9 rings easy… Tony’s rigs develop lots of power… 😯

Im planing to use JSB in case i dont like them ill have to change, so i might get the 9 ring ones.

Now we talking….

I’m not Jerry 🙂 but you could push 7 for surefire lol I would guess 9 too.

There you go! Jerry that reminds me I will need an order soon hows the waiting list?

Beeman Kodiak 31gr are good, but the JSB Exact King is even better, especially at the 75+ yrd ranges.

Edit- Oh yeah, Jerry’s boys (Surefire) slugs are good too!!

Are you talking about this ones: JSB Match Diabolo Exact King .25 Cal, 25.4 Grains, Domed, 350ct
And what about Jerry’s boys, i haven’t see them yet! Which one are they?

H&N 31 grains are good. JSB exacts I have not tried but everyone says they are the cats meow! Surefire slugs are nice. I have some 6 rings that are sweet too!
