Q:

Ammunition accountability act

This was just forwarded to me. Hope all of you that voted for osama are happy, because this is going to suck if it goes through.

quote :

Ammunition Accountability Act
Did you know anything about this, Alabama is one of the states mentioned. The gun control liberals got a setback when the Supreme Court upheld the 2nd amendment rights in Wash. DC. Now they are trying to come thru the back door. Please forward this to all you know that want to keep their guns!!!! Maybe we can start a ground swell, or continue it at least, that will go all over the U.S. and have a positive impact on the outcome.

Remember how Obama said that he wasn’t going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo! The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a database of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded. Any privately held un-coded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011.(Including hand loaded ammo.)

They will also charge a.05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more! If they can deprive you of ammo then they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington. Been promotin the Nuge for years! Let’s all get together and write him in for 2012! Airforce one would be an early bronco with gun racks! Might be somthin to kill along the way to the next meeting. Leading the troops into battle mightily rippin cords on a stratocaster and rippin off rounds from his camoflauge ar 15.:lol:Tred can pack the ammo cans, he might not screw that up. 😆

For gosh sake call and write your reps ❗ ❗

Tell them it’s stupid and they will lose your vote if they vote for rubbish like that.

it looks as if this has been tried a few time in the past and has been shot down, so here’s me with my fingers crossed it wont get anywhere this time around.

Did you see how the coding is on the butt end of the bullet?

Should be just about destroyed by the time it gets out the end of the barrel…

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I guess they’ve never taken a look at a .22-250 bullet after it hits something. Good luck piecing those microscopic particles back together to read the code.

http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Technology.htm thats just funny….what stops the criminal from pulling the bullet and sanding the serial away ? or from just reloading the bullets him self ?

he could also just cast the bullets him self

would he be a criminal for having casting and reloading equipment….maybe, but then again he is a criminal do you think he cares ?

my big question is, should i drop buying that reloading press i want in 1½ months? since i wont be allowed to reload anyway ?

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither safety nor liberty.

Ben Franklin.

“Liberty is the only thing you cannot have unless you are willing to give it to others.”

“Liberty is always unfinished business.”

Thomas Jefferson – “The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.”

Patrick Henry – “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.”

Mahatma Gandhi – “Freedom is not worth having if it does not connote freedom to err. It passes my comprehension how human beings, be they ever so experienced and able, can delight in depriving other human beings of that precious right.”

Thomas Paine – “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.”

Thomas Jefferson – “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

George Bernard Shaw – “Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it.”

i havent followed the what law might and may not make it….

i enjoy shooting and guns as much as the rest of you, but have you thought about this might just be a scare to make you buy more ?

my gunstore, have been having signs saying microstamping, will do this and that…..get your guns while you can……obama will do this and that…get your guns while you can….i fell for it, i got several handguns now and have spent quite a bit on them

daily for most of december topglock.com and shotgunworks.com have been spamming me with what might happen, along with adds for get your stuff while you can.

makes me wonder if the gun industry as a whole is seeing this as an opportunity to scare people to buy more guns.

motorcycles….i have ridden them since i was 18 from vespa150cc scooter to aprilia rsv mille R (1000cc race bike), i do belive its a good idea that young newbies get to ride less powerfull bikes to begin with, yeah it sucks when your 18 and want to go fast, but imho it does safe lives, i would prolly have been dead had i gone straight to a cbr1000rr…..a mandatory trackday to teach you the dynamics of fast acceleration, hard braking and correct cornering would save even more lives !!! (plus its extreme exhilarating, fun and adrenalin pumping experience, you will have a hard time not going back for another fix 🙂

should someone be allowed the freedom to a fast bike from 16 years old, i dont think so….the mind is not mature enough to think of the consequences that say a 21 year old does, theres a reason that young people have higher insurance premiums, they just dont think as much about stuff as older people does, thats just how it is, that is why the law tries to help them survive the early years

should a 50 year old be allowed to jump straight onto a superbike, no we still share the road, and the chance of it overpowering him, causing an accident involving me is just too high, but he might have been driving 30 years, so he might just need a few classes in motorbiking

im writing this partially as a Dane and partially american, cause denmark has mandatory driving shcools, with avoidance and cornering classes, but here in the states all it took was for me to do a figure 8 twice, and i got my license….so if a 50 year old took the highpower licence with classes matching his powerfull bike, fine with me….but letting a 50 year old out on the streets after doing a drive around the mall parking lot well that just dangerous to all

There is NO question in my mind that the new president will within moments of swearing to god to abide by and bare true allegiance to the constitution will become a traitor to the constitution and his oath. Clearly he was when a senator as are most of his colleagues.

He’s not the first and won’t be the last…

Bush already shredded it now Obama is going to burn it… 😆

Sat down last night and read the whole 2007 amendment to the Ca. gun laws. Pretty interesting. I misunderstood the thing I quoted earlier, a shotgun that can be concealed can also fall under the handgun category.

I’ll have to reread the Constitution tonight.

So I went to Lama’s link and the only legislation I saw was a sample, is there a place to find the actual proposal for each state??

ill be needin that gun for squils and such!

Consider reading the constitution. It’s not long or difficult and it is meant to be read literally. It is common law which has a history of hundreds of years still used today. It is NOT a living document it can only be changed through amendment.

Our reps take an oath.
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Probably 2/3 of the legislation is Unconstitutional thus we have an out of control socialist state now and all quite Unconstitutional.
This is a constitutional republic it is NOT a democracy. Granted founded on democratic principles but NOT a democracy. The founders knew democracy leads to tyranny so they established a republic. They always chose Liberty over security etc.

Now, how many reps strictly abide by their oath of office to us/We the People, the constitution and to God??
Answer,,, only a few of the 545 odd folks in congress. There is NO question in my mind that the new president will within moments of swearing to god to abide by and bare true allegiance to the constitution will become a traitor to the constitution and his oath. Clearly he was when a senator as are most of his colleagues.

The NRA is not going to protect your rights. You have to write and call your reps every time you see anything Unconstitutional which will be most of the time. It requires constant vigilance as you SHOULD well know. We didn’t get to this socialist state by accident. We got here because most of the citizens have become sheep. We The People provide the Law which IS the constitution. If you pay no attention you share common misery and deserve neither liberty or security.

Read and understand the constitution. Read the federalist papers become active citizens.
