Any interest in a group buy for custom bullet molds?
I recently talked to Jerry about copying the surefire design since he will no longer be making slugs. I know that NOE makes custom moulds of 15 or more. I am still waiting to hear back from Gary Barnes who Jerry said actually designed them, With his OK, I figured we could move foward if there is enough interest. So what do you guys think ?

The molds where 250 usd plus $15 for postage (for 6 and 7 ring 3 cavities with handles, 300 usd for the 9 ring one), last time Gary made them. I would have to talk with Garry about them and see, if he would be willing to make a batch. It would be, if he decides to make them the last time, he is moving onto his “list items”, and won’t be makeing custom stuff for sale any time soon. So I think he would do it for a 3-5 mold minimum. Any other takers?

The time has come Gary contacted me with the news that he has one (two if a another forum member decides not to buy) molds available for sale. It is gonna be 3 cavities 6 ring or 7 ring slug molds (mix is up to you). The price is 250 each plus $15 for postage and insurance per unit or $20 in the case you take two.

Patience my friend, Gary is getting his shop in order.

Hi – any word from Gary on the slugs ? Do we know if he is going to produce all the 6-7-8-9 rings ? Do we know if the old molds are still within spec to make slugs as they could be wore out ?

Here’s a question: would these slugs need to be sized after dropping from the mold, if so, would they be sized like any other slug?
