Looks to me like that Gal “Can Shoot” just fine! :8:

Man, ive been wanting to do that too but it has just been too cold here and a honey do or two have slowed me also, good weather is coming. I got my 25 and 30 both tore completely down and making parts for this cast bullet effort. I’m an all 22 guy for now and not mi di g it if i do say so myself. 22 is just a great airgun caliber, makes me wonder about a nice gun in .177

I had to go up to our lake property to do some work, and decided that I was going to do some 100 yard shooting with my Edgun .30 while I was there. Of course, when I got there, I realized I had forgotten the bipod, squeeze bag, air tank and pretty much everything else I needed for a shooting session, but I did have and 80% full edgun and some pellets and couple of old targets with some pasters. So I had about 30 shots total for the session. I shot 5 or 6 to warm up and see what the holdever/wind would be, and then shot for the target.

Here is the string of 10 consecutive shots at 100yards:

Wind was blowing maybe 3-5mph variable, I was prone on the ground using a dewalt drill case as a front rest and no rear rest. 5 of the 6 shots just below the bull were consecutive during a minute or so when the wind dropped. The pasters on the target were all from a prior shooting session. The one at the bottom is the first shot, and I adjusted my hold up after that.

If I had my regular shooting stuff and more air, I’m pretty sure I could have done a virgin 5 shot group that looked really impressive. But this is a real 10 shot set from someone who doesn’t shoot pellet guns at 100 yards very often. And I have not yet adjusted my regulator, so there is more variation than the gun is capable of if tuned.

Nice shooting from the Missus ! Few years back my wife tried to shoot a Pigeon that was sitting on our Antenna and crapping down on the Patio. She used my Gamo Hunter for that and missed the first shot at 15 yards or so. She missed it so bad the Bird didn´t even bother to dodge nor did it fly away so the Sniperess went few yards closer and got a good, steady position leaning towards the Garage and gave it another shot. Needless to say she missed that one too – at 10 yards … The Pigeon flew away though.

Burgaw …. you got a lot of trust in her and that air gun. hope you were standing behind a big tree.

Yeah, I wasn’t as close to it as it looked. The camera has a 20 x zoom!
She won’t shoot me until after we’re married. I might have to invest in some kevlar then :suprisedn:

Well, I don’t actually have a target group out past 50 other than a can me and the Miss’s shot at today at 60 yds with one flyer.

I had asked her earlier to shoot this little teeny decal on a WD-40 jug, and bout crapped my pant’s when I saw the results. So, I got out the video camera for a repeat and she didn’t let me down!

AirgunAnnie comes to town!

Did a post on the Yellow!

with 3/4″ groups at 90 yards… whats another 10 yards. You should go take the first five tins of pellets off steve’s hands on the yellow. with an edgun at that

OK guys, my first attempt of posting pictures. Disclaimer: I am computer illiterate so don’t expect much, fingers crossed.

I must say that I am quite impressed with my .25 R3M right out of box with less than 1 ½ tins of pellets down its pipe. On top of that I haven’t even cleaned the barrel yet. I believe it’s as or more accurate than my .22 R3 that has been tuned and broken in with a few thousand shots. The .25 seems to have a lot less flyers than its little brother.

Mike, please struggle through the picture-posting and include the fps/chrony numbers if you can. I have a R3M Long .25 spitting kings at 948+ fps, and the groups are poor. My guess is the 900 fps is close to where it should be and your good groups are encouraging. 3/4 inch groups at 90+ yds. is nothing to sneeze at!

Thanks!

I used to think Phillips Head screws were tools of the devil, now I’m sure it’s PCs. :angrymob:

I will def post 50, 75 and 100 with my .30 edgun on monday!!!!

Damn Al everytime I turn around you’ve sold the last gun and are waiting for the next one. Got a new permission out in Anza that I scouted this morning lots of Yotes

What part of Anza you going hunting in? Funny enough I lived there for 7 years, its one of those small obscure places you’d never expect to hear mentioned again let alone on a airgun forum . Damn small world…..

Actually is a animal sanctuary/ranch. Not sure they want it known that their having yotes killed on sight but I’m sure you can figure it out with google. Yeah not much in Anza but it backs up to some great hunting grounds.

I know……i know…..It’s just that i keep test driving all these makes/models and i always seem to find my way back home. I never did any mods to my boss (not like you really can anyways) but, my groups at my 45 yard zero was slightly better but at greater distances it seemed to take second place from my edgun.
