seems like this bull pup section has been on a repair kick for sometime… lets see some hunting pics and groups..

Plus, a lot of folks, myself included, prefer the look and feel of wood. The few dings over the years just give it character.
A wood turning friend used thin cyanoacrylate, soaked into softer wood, to make spalted maple bowls that were beautiful, with a hard finish. Bet a Black Walnut stock, treated that way would be amazing and tough. I’ve never seen one, but Osage Orange has incredibly hard wood, very pretty, and it’s rot resistant. I use it for certain tools and handles. It was one of the best bow woods, before laminating. Sounds like some post-retirement projects…
I can mold it for sure but who would want one rather than the walnut stocks ?? The tooling is to too expensive for the sales it would generate. Those tanks someone asked about are nitrogen for Gas assist molding so I can hollow out the thick areas pretty well and It would get lighter than a solid plastic stock and stiffer too, but cost prohibitive. Tooling for this kind of process is likely 50k.
Nice shooting Ride, if you get any more Edguns we are going to start looking to you for parts,LOL 😀 Have you ever thought of doing a plastic stock for the Edguns ,since you do the injection molding and all. Or is it just to expensive?

I think these LW barrels really need a good break in with regular cleaning. my HMX is get better i think i might scrub it with some JB and hit it with some Flitz or the sorts… i was leading up but it seems better.
Gotta say 100 yards with an air gun is a hard shot.. i shot HMX out to 100 yards today did one 10 shot group. 7 out of 10 shots were under 1″ the other 3 brought it out to around 2″ I need more trigger time.
these guys shooting these sub moa 100 yard groups my hats off to yah.
Mine is finally ready for some groups 750+ shots later. :biggrinn: Now to find a warm range out to 100 yards. 😯
Ya, I measured it at .525″ ctc, had another about .700 or so and a bunch of crappy groups too. This little M only has 3-400 rounds through it so it stands to get a lot better. The R3 I was shooting was a year old and new to me but had a lousey feeling trigger, working through it now.

yup that is a fine looking group… if you get them touching that would be dam good. looks like your somewhere just over 1/2″ . at 75 yards that is great. :8: :8:

The inner bull is .525″ and the outer is 1.000″ They are ARA targets… I just seems like if you can have 2 groups touching, you ought to be able to have one group of 5 doing it so I am sure there is room for improvement.

OK guys, my first attempt of posting pictures. Disclaimer: I am computer illiterate so don’t expect much, fingers crossed.
I must say that I am quite impressed with my .25 R3M right out of box with less than 1 ½ tins of pellets down its pipe. On top of that I haven’t even cleaned the barrel yet. I believe it’s as or more accurate than my .22 R3 that has been tuned and broken in with a few thousand shots. The .25 seems to have a lot less flyers than its little brother.
Not much of a picture but top group was a nine shoot group (one magazine) .25 R3M shoot from a card table with Caldwell large front bag at a distance of 90 yards. Feeling my oats at this point I decided to put the other magazine in and tried a shot at the 100 yard spinner, with ease, then decided to shoot another group with remaining 8 shots (lower group). I had just adjusted the trigger prior to shooting these groups (one screw trigger) to a very light pull but left the trigger with a veeery long 1st stage that made for difficulty for concentrating and timing with heart beat but with good results, as indicative in the top nine shot group. I’m a hunter so having POA being same as POI is very rewarding for me. The lower group of eight was with a quicker pull through of the trigger, got a tighter group but pulled slightly low and left. This group measured just under ¾” where as top group measured just a hair above ¾”. Once I learn to adjust the creep out of the trigger I expect tighter groups and with a season barrel and experimenting with best velocity I would like to see ½” to ¾” groups at 100 yards. My goal ( a tall order) is to shoot 150 yards with hopes of 1 ½ “ groups and better
