AZ tuned BSA Super Ten
Sent my BSA Super Ten to Allen Zasadny for some work….I can
not Emphasize how quiet this thing is now..Screw on LDC with
end cap to protect threads when not using LDC….Trigger is match grade
1 stage, and the fill adapter mod is a have to have….Cocking bolt
is cool too but everything else over shadows the knob….

I’m older than you think, having studied 3 years mech eng, spending 3 years welding nuclear waste vessels, spent a total of 9 years studying electronics, electrical and micro-electronics engineering (3 years each). We can study combined courses in the UK while in employment if we have the commitment and an employer who will fund/allow time off for study and exams. Is that so funny? I got my aluminium codings while working on motorcycle frames during my time spent tuning and building racing motorcycles after giving up crap jobs in micro-electronics. Perhaps we study quicker in the UK?

😆 so now your a welder. Before you were an engineer. Oop’s, 4 different types of engineer. You must have spent decades in school. May-be Engineer means something else in the UK than it does here. ^ years minimum in any one of the fields. Minimum.
Welder. Humm. Well, I worked at Ingels Ship building as a Pipe Fitter back in the 70’s. You know, the guys that did all the trig, runs and travels on the nuke subs, and placed everything before you guys, (the welders) were allowed to touch it, and then had the responsibility to check that it was done correctly.
Looked it up on google? You bet. I’m a metallurgist and heat treater, along with mechanical design as a vocation. Get it?
And your an Engineer welder? 😉 So you’ve done it all, and know it all. Impressive. So how does that welding gig pay after being a multi time Engineer? Sure you weren’t the conductor too?

You’ll be happy to know that I just sent a check off to AZ. He is tuning
a Rapid for me with the Quick fill adapter mod….I asked him
about installing it in the valve body and he said that wasn’t the best
way to do it….Any way…Good to see ya..Have a great day….

As a coded TIG and MIG aluminium welder I know all the procedures, grades and heat treatments for heat treatable aluminium alloys. Where did you find them, google?

Allen Z. Doesn’t need to answer any of you question.s They have already been answered many times where they count. On Forums that cater to guns that can use his mod’s.
I’m sure he has better things to do that answer more questions and justify his work to someone who has no need to know at all. This is a Forum for AG guns. There are forums for what you want to know.
I would feel much better about this thread if I felt that it was genuine concern driving it. Mostly however, it seem a venue to make Walter once again seen more important, intelligent, and educated that any one else here. Seems we have a new troll with the same needs.

The vid. says t-4 heat treat. do you even know what t-4, t5,t-6 or t-7 heat treats are and the different applications? Do you know the difference in the different grades of ALU.? Or their applications in high stress-wear, environments?
Go play with you computer an look all the numbers up and leave the poor man alone!

And for the one here bordering on a Troll, May I suggest that you go over to the popular Air Gun Advice Site where you can learn all you want about the different techniques being used for quick fills and the tuners doing it. That is where you can go to put the people down who use this stuff on a daily basis. They will be more than happy to get you in touch with Allen Z. or Ernie. AKA 220 Swift. The two top tuners on these Bottle guns. I am more than sure that your expertise will be welcomed with open arms there. But tread lightly. There are some snobs there that make you two look like kinder-garden newbies! If either of you have the Balls, it shod be FUN! 😀 😀
