Lucas is the Prince of Darkness, not the Prince of Carburators.

Jesus, the way some of you lot go on you’d think these valves were a fucking carburetor. 😆

Only if it were a Lucas… 😆

Is that a bad thing?

I agree completely. Though, I think Tony will tell you that it is possible to get more power out of the gun than he chooses to tune to. Nonetheless, it makes little sense to try and find a couple more FPE if you have no apparent clue how any part of the gun works. I mentioned the 1000psi thing because it seems pretty odd. Especially without any explanation.

From what I’ve seen, unless it is otherwise requested, he tunes them to the very max fpe that can still maintain the best possible accuracy. Sure, you could try to pull more power out of it. Cygnus has tuned a condor to shoot about 1200fps with 42g eun jins (if I remember those numbers right). He said it couldn’t hit anything, but it was pumping out some serious power.

But now it makes sense. If it’s broken then obviously nothing else matters, and a new one is needed. Blodnob’s valve design is great, I got to play with a buddies blodnob valve that was for a 9mm kit, it was very nice. I’m sure if something is wrong it will get fixed, and after a little bit of tuning that blodnob will be very impressive.

Just don’t break this one. 😉

Is the rifle a Condor or a Talon?

If you have a Talon you may want to consider a Condor spring and hammer. Or at least the hammer…

Does the Condor have a larger valve orifice? 😆

Condor and fully tuned by Tony 😆

Woah woah woah woah woah woah WOAH.

You are telling us you had a condor that had been completely tuned by Tony, and you bought a blodnob valve to replace the one tony had tuned???????

😆 😆 😆 Sorry guys forgot to mention the only reason why I got the blodnob valve was because my original was broken…
From what selph said was that the hat and valve was stripped…so, i thought hey might as well try out this new valve…so selph is getting my original valve fixed…but trust me if i dont get this blodnob valve working by the time selph sends me the original, I certainly am going back to the original.

Trust me if i didnt need a new valve i would not had spent 200 dollars on a valve…dont have that kind of money laying around when ur 22 years old 😆 😆 😆

😯 I do believe the Condor valve is larger than the one I am holding in my hand right now (B&B Valve)…

Let me grab my calipers…

HEre is what I get from the two valves I have on hand…

B&B Valve opening diameter= 0.198″ to 0.200″

AF Talon Valve opening diameter= 0.11″

Aren’t you going to ask about why it wouldn’t go above 1000 psi? Or if he replaced any of the other parts that had been tuned to work together? Or any of the other missing information? Oh never mind….

When he said it wouldn’t go over 1kpsi I think he was referring to the new valve. It did that at first and then something gave and it started working.

As to if he replaced other parts, sure, good question.

What I’m really getting at though is why replace anything that had been tuned by tony? Don’t get me wrong, blodnob’s stuff is awesome, I’ve seen it and it does not disappoint. But tony’s guns shoot at the very max of what is possible, blodnobs will do the same but now he is working backwards, he went to a blodnob that will now have to be tuned to his gun.

Am I missing something here? Just seems to me like he went a step backwards by getting a new, untuned valve.
